Q: What are the dimensions of the inside of the cooler? I'd like to place a more efficient cooler inside.

The cooler that this raft comes with takes on water. I wouldn’t recommend putting a cooler inside.

Q: Is it easy to navigate back to shore with paddles, or is it too big?

It’s pretty big so it would be awkward to paddle. Once it’s in the water I just drag it to where it needs to be with a rope attached to a handle.
