This set is superb for a child with ASD who thrives on routine, or any child who needs visual stimulation to get things done.The kit comes with 80 different cards of things that a typical child does during a typical day, such as brushing teeth, going swimming, making a bed, eating lunch, going to sleep, etc...There are also 10 blank cards that you can use to write anything that isn't included, or unique to you, such as singing a bedtime song, or something similar.Each card has an adorable child friendly illustration, and you attach a velcro to the back of each one, which makes it able to stick onto the blue board which you then display for the child to see.After setting up the whole board with the visual timetable, there are little round cards you can use to stick near a task once completed. These read "well done, you did it" and "good job" which motivatates the child to complete tasksThere is cute bunny rabbit case to store the cards so they don't get lost or fly all over the place.Heads up, when you get this the cards need to be "popped out! of the large board and you have to affix the velcro yourself (velcro is included)
