I really can't comment on the performance of this item and hope I will never be in the position to do so. I bought it to replace the one I keep in the kitchen which was out of date.

The card box is informative regarding the product inside and there are foam inserts to protect the extinguisher during transit.The fire extinguisher itself is neat and compact, isn't very heavy, feels good to hold and is emblazoned with clear and easy to read instructions should it be required.It seems incredibly easy to use as well.It contains 620ml of non toxic fire extinguishing chemical material, it can tackle a variety of different fires and it has a shelf life of 4 years. What happens after 4 years I have no idea!The trigger is protected with a safety clip to prevent accidental spraying and is easy to remove if needed.A small and handy fire extinguisher like this is an essential purchase and every home should have one as you just never know when the inevitable may happen and having one of these close to hand could well prevent a minor fire from spreading in to a home destroying disaster..Being small and portable means it's good to keep in the car or caravan too.This particular fire extinguisher seems very keenly priced too.

This is a really handy sized multi purpose extinguisher.Big enough to be worthwhile having around unlike some which are no bigger than a can of furniture polish but small enough to not get in the way in the kitchen garage or car.You can use it on a variety of different fires that are common around the hone and other domestic settings and it's light enough to handle easily and quickly, you may not put out a fire with it but it could easily slow it down enough to make the difference between getting people out of harms way or not which is really what small extinguishers are often about.It has clear graphic rather than written instructions so language isn't a problem and isn't really any harder to use than a hair spray.My only little complaint would be the lack of a mounting bracket, I've had a few small extinguishers over the years and they all came supplied with one, it not only keeps the extinguisher out of harms way it means it will always be kept in one place so it's not likely to be mislaid when you need it most.The good news is I found out by chance that the slimmer style of bottle cage used on bikes these days is a near perfect fit so I'll be using a spare one I have to mount this in our garage.Safety is always worth spending on and at £16.99 this is a bargain, better still right now there's a 10% discount on them so it's even better value.

In the past, I've had to do some serious research on fire extinguishers to make sure I was getting the right one for the type of fire I might find myself facing. This little extinguisher can be used on multiple different fire types including grease fires, electrical, as well as wood, etc. This is excellent, in my eyes. It's also a super storable and portable size. Granted, this also means that it'll run out faster, but this is designed to tackle small fires or beginning fires quickly and efficiently. My extinguisher came with a manufacturing date of Nov '23, so gives it an almost 3.5yr lifetime use. Good. The instructions on the cylinder itself are also clear and easy to understand.I honestly think every household should have some kind of fire protection - be it extinguishers or fire blankets. This is my second extinguisher that I keep in and around my house. I'm very glad I have this for peace of mind (and I hope to never use it).

I bought this fire extinguisher for peace of mind, especially because of its advertised 4-year shelf life - but was disappointed to find out it’s actually only good for 3 years. The can clearly provides a 3 year expiration from the manufacturing date, not 4 as advertised. That said, the extinguisher itself is compact, lightweight, and easy to store in my kitchen and car. The instructions are straightforward - pull the pin, aim, and spray - so I feel confident if I have to use it

I think it's not a question of if you can afford it, but can you afford not to have it?!Weighing only 1.5lb, its light and compact, and lasts for 4 years from date of manufacture. Its small enough to pop in a kitchen cupboard or car boot.Useful for a variety of fires, from wood, paper, rubbish to grease, petrol, diesel, electrical and fabric, I really feel that every home (and car) should be equipped with one.Thankfully I've not had to use it, and hope it stays that way, but at least I know if the worst happens we could hopefully stop a small fire from escalating into something more devastating.Instructions state you simply pull the pin, aim, and spray. There's no manual in the box, but the manufacturer includes a downloadable user manual, pdf version, on the listing.Definitely 5 stars from me
