Get this MANGA!
Great story, great art, poignant, inspirational and exciting. One of the best boxing sports manga ever written. No flash, no pulp, just gritty real character's who must grow or fall deeper into the slums. A manga that will inspire you to get out of your own head and start working toward your dreams!

Regardless, An important manga and a must have.
Say what you say about the price, kind of steep. I was expecting a bigger size Volume like the Attack on Titan omnibus. This is smaller. Still, aside from that, Ashita Joe is a must have manga and very important one too. Hajime No Ippo owes alot to Ashita No Joe. Lets just say im a firm believer that Ippo Makanuchi wouldn't exist without Joe. So if this is the only english version of this classic 70s manga that's coming out then I'm willing to part with $54 bucks.... Tax i didn't include 😉 pick this up while it's still available. Otherwise when they become out of print you'll have to get it on Ebay for even more cash.

Good Translation, Iffy Price
As someone who's reread this series numerous times, not having to deal with the shoddy fan translations and low-quality scans is simply wonderful. There are some minor issues with the translation (there were like one or two lines that were changed, and Kinoko's called Toad for some reason), but aside from that, the translators did a good job. This is not a 50 dollar product, however. The pages aren't big enough, and they only give you 3 color illustrations despite that being one of this book's main selling points. I feel like the high price is only ever going to deter new readers; this is already appealing to an extremely niche market, and you're only really making it worse for fans of the series by charging that much for $20-30 worth of content.Seeing the art in such high quality is very nice, and I like what they did with a lot of the lines in the manga, but I would definitely wait for this to go on sale if you want to read it.

Classic, brilliant manga finally in English
Is it overpriced? Sure, okay. But it’s 580 pages of one of the greatest series in the history of manga. I wish it were more like $30-$35, but so be it. It’s worth every penny. Superb story, great artwork, some color cover reproduction at the beginning of the book. Excellent and highly recommended.

Review of "Fighting for Tomorrow: Ashita no Joe"
The book is a nostalgic journey for fans of Ashita no Joe, capturing the essence of the legendary series. However, I found the price to be quite high for the quality provided. The print and binding are of average quality, which is disappointing given the iconic nature of the material. One significant improvement would be the inclusion of original cover art for the volumes. This addition would have elevated the book's appeal and provided a more authentic experience for fans.Overall, while the content remains timeless, the production could have been better aligned with the legacy of Ashita no Joe.

Good item
It arrived on time. The condition is descent. Some pages have a little damage to them and the hard cover as well. But I guess it's whatever
