Great and useful.
I bought this to monitor how radio my thyroid became when it was treated. It’s very sensitive. I’m not sure how calibrated it is. But it worked great for my purposes.

Excelent BTMETER Customer Service!.
I am very grateful for the replacement of my BTMETER because it was not possible, despite the permanent interaction between the Technical Service of BTMETER and myself, to find a solution for the correct functioning of the seconds that appear in the time indication. I wish to publicly mention clearly the excellent attention of the technical service of BTMETER and the final solution to the problem. Thank you once again!

Works as expected
Works as expected, has been a useful tool for checking radiation from mineral specimens and basement walls/corners.

Useful in detecting roving Gamma radiation
Useful in detecting potential radioactive substances, or devices. It went off as a car drove by the house, insinuating that someone might be targeting people with errant Gamma radiation.

Does not work
It reads high no matter where you are at. It doesn’t work. Took it all over town to test.

A high-quality nuclear radiation detector even Survival Lilly would approve of …
I do love a good apocalyptic movie so long as it doesn’t turn into reality and I’m starring in it. As one of the brothers says, if we’re nuked, he simply doesn’t want to be around. I wanted this nuclear radiation detector more out of curiosity than anything else. There’s a bit of a learning curve to this one, but there are a lot of videos out there explaining how they work. The curiosity, I suppose, is listening to the likes of Survival Lilly and Dan Sheekoz. Both of these individuals own a radiation detector and use them. I’ll probably be checking out a lot of items in my surroundings to see what I can detect. It detects y-rays, X-rays, and β-rays. It’s a very sensitive piece of machinery. The battery capacity is decent and can be recharged using a USB cord and wall charger (not included). The price of under $60 is reasonable, considering how sophisticated this detector is. If you’re a survivalist or prepper, I’m sure one of these is on your list.
