I bought this to use with some artificial flowers so as it’s never had water in it i can’t comment on how waterproof it is. However, as a tall modern looking matt black vase it is exactly what i was looking for so im very happy with my purchase.

Arrived in minimalist and yet well packed, no chance of it braking or getting chipped.Vase is good size, almost too small at the top, but not a problem if you're planning to keep small amount of either real or fake type grass/flowers inside.Can work on its own without being filled with anything really.Sturdy and thick, nicely made and no blemishes or imperfections, and of course no denta or it being chipped.Just what we needed on our dining table, where we already have things on our table runner, and this black vase will look great being filled with real seasonal flowers.

Although too small for displaying the larger blooms of pampas grass you get in your garden, the vase is nicely made, tapering up towards a small opening at the top. The glaze is well applied and the base feels smooth although I would still opt to use a mat on delicate surfaces. It is a good size for spring and summer garden blooms, although probably too light to hold peonies and too small for general pampas grass.
