Works Great with Some Tweaks
The media could not be loaded. I used this motor to replace a faulty one on my IKEA Fyrtur smart blinds, and while it works great now, it took a fair bit of tinkering to get it there. The motor doesn't directly fit the IKEA blind tube — the fittings are completely different — so I had to get creative. Honestly, the easiest solution would be to buy a new 38mm blind tube that fits this motor and then attach that to the IKEA system.Once installed, the Tuya app performed surprisingly well. It integrates smoothly and offers precise control. One thing to note: the app doesn't recognize simple up/down commands — it uses percentage values instead (e.g., 0% for up, 100% for down). I worked around this by creating Alexa routines. For example, I set a command like “Left Window up” to trigger the motor to go to 0%. See my screenshot for how I set that up in the Alexa app.Overall, I’m very happy with the motor — it brought my smart blinds back to life. Just be aware of the fitment challenges and the ridiculously short cord, which really should be longer.

Silent roller blind motor
This is great and very quiet. It was a bit strange to set it up, but once set up it works perfectly with a single button click to open or close - thank you

A potentially good product, BUT
Three complaints:-Firstly, it is fitted with a 13 amp fuse; in the event of a motor fault, it could draw in excess of 3kW which would be more than sufficient to set fire to adjacent blind, curtains, window frame etc. Verging on criminally negligent! 3A more than adequate and 1A would suffice and be safest.Secondly, the instructions are printed in pale grey on white paper: rather difficult to read when the blind is closed!Thirdly, the mains lead is only about a metre long; not many people have a socket half way up the wall next to each window; the only advantage is that you have to cut the plug off to extend the cable and discover that the plug was fitted with the wrong fuse! The fixings are good, it works perfectly with a 38mm slotted tube, is quiet and handles a heavy blind.Alexa does not understand "Open" or "Close" and has to be told "Set blind to 0% or 100%" which is rather tedious. The remote control works well.I think it is potentially a good product, but I am unable to comment on reliability or longevity.

Impressive little piece of kit
The media could not be loaded. I ended up purchasing 3 of these little motors for my blinds and I can not fault them at all. While as you can see from the video, they are a little bit noisy (please excuse the sound of my fishtank lol). They are so easy to fit, sleek, and excellent quality. Very easy to change if you need to and worth every penny.
