Nice ashtray! I bought this to replace my Holmes battery operated ashtray that no longer worked. Its ashtray was a thin well and my cigarette would potentially fall out of it if I didn’t put it out in time. This one has a deep well and so much nicer. Cigarette falls in it and not out of it. I like the option of having a place under it to put a few drops of perfume in a little well underneath it. It’s nice that you can charge it and no batteries needed. The filter is also so much better than my Holmes was. My Holmes ashtray had a cheap small filter. This one has more of a hepa filter. I wanted another ashtray with a folding lid because I put it next to my small True air purifier for a double smoke grabber. It is fantastic! I should have bought this long ago. It does a great job. It’s expensive but I think well worth it. It helps a lot with the smell!

This ashtray worked for exactly 3 cigarettes! Charge quit working and won't recharge. A complete waste of your money.

For a smokeless ashtray, this one is better than most. It is quiet and contains the smoke better than most other ashtrays I have tried. The downside is that the ashtray and filters are a little pricey

It may seem a bit pricey - BUT - consider the cost of batteries. This unit is great; ordered my first one, and went ahead to purchase a second. Okay, the optimum ending would be to quit smoking; but until I reach that end - this product is worth the money.

I've been using Holmes for years and the batteries get expensive. This was more expensive, but I thought it might be better. It was for a about month. Sleek, easier to clean, drew the smoke in well. But as I used it, it stopped working which is a problem. I had already bought 2 more for others. When it works, it ROCKS, but despite seeming of better quality, the motor doesn't match Holmes. Offset the price of batteries, I might try another to replace this one just to see if it lasts better.

I've been buying the Holmes smoke Grabber ashtray for about 30 years now.Yes it did the job but it's a pain in the neck to have rechargeable batteries on hand which is an added extra cost that nobody thinks about.Also, the Holmes smokeless ashtray eventually dies on you and you have to have another one on hand to replace.They usually last about a month sometimes a little longer.I still have a case of these things in my closet.But when I tried to look for more to back stock with, I found that they are no longer available.So this ashtray showed up instead.I bought two of them just in case.But with this one you can plug it directly into the outlet and it can run literally forever.I smoke two or two and a half packs of cigarettes every day.This ashtray has stood up to the test so far.You end up spending about $90. But considering the alternative it is money well spent.

The ashtray worked for two days only. Then, it stopped charging. It is worthless. I want my money back.

The machine was ok but the smell coming out of the vents is like stale smoke. I checked the filter after just a couple uses and it was already brown. The filters are $20.00 for 4 so at this rate it would be about $180.00 per month.
