Mini but Mighty
I have a flashlight addiction.I found this little gem while browsing Amazon and realized that I needed a small orange flashlight because I didn’t have one. The PIOOCAN Rechargeable Flashlight with 1200 lumens fits the everyday carry niche perfectly. Here are a few things I’ve noticed since receiving it:Battery: The battery itself is what you plug in via USB-C to recharge. There is no charging port on the flashlight itself. Most of the other rechargeable flashlights I own allow you to plug directly into the body of the light. This is convenient but allows the introduction of foreign material (pocket lint, moisture, beef jerky, etc.) into the charging port, which can have consequences. The battery-only recharging keeps a watertight seal against the outside world using a silicon O-ring. There are 2 extra O-rings included in the box. The light will also work with a standard AA battery.Brightness Levels: There are 3 brightness levels on this light: Dim, Normal Bright, and Really Bright (my words). The light “clicks” on/off using the only button on the light. A partial push will toggle between the brightness levels, and the light will turn back on to the last brightness setting after you turn it off.Strobe Light Function: There is also a strobe light function that shows a fast, slower, fast, slower pattern. I initially thought it was me changing the strobe speed but eventually figured out it was the flashlight.Light Beam: The light beam itself has a great balance of spot and flood lighting that will work great in most situations. I think the fancy reflector has something to do with that. The middle part of the reflector is dimpled (looks like orange peel) while the outer part is smooth.Clip: The light clips perfectly to my ball cap and allows a good hands-free user experience. Someone commented that they didn’t like the clip, but it is easily removable if it bugs you that much.Heat: The business end of the light does get warm in Really Bright mode.Overall, this is a nice little light. Worth the money if you are looking for a small, bright, and simple EDC flashlight.

Great affordable EDC light for everyone, especially for inspections and pointing!
The L2 is lightweight and well built, the threads are smooth and the anodizing is solid. I choose the orange color so it’s a bit easier to find in low light situations. The two way pocket clip does not feel like it’s going to come undone from the flashlight but it is removable. It’s also nice to know that I can use this in the rain with the IP6X rating. The beam is more of a thrower than a flood, but the spill from the main spot is also useful for seeing where you’re going up close. The moonlight brightness setting makes it useful for seeing what’s directly in front of you also without making yourself go blind. The power button has a stiffness to it where you’re confident it will not turn on in your pocket. It doesn’t have too many modes that make it annoying to use as an EDC light. You can hard press or soft press the button to change between brightness settings. Though you can double tab to enter “flash flash” mode, but any tap of the button seems to get you out of it. I don’t see a need for a strobe mode in an EDC light, but it’s nice to have, especially since it’s not in the way of cycling through the modes I do want.Who is this light for? I think this is the perfect flashlight for someone that is looking for an affordable lightweight everyday carry that uses a single AA battery. If you lose it, it doesn't break the bank to replace. The rechargeable battery it comes with seems to work great. I tested it with NiMh and Alkaline and both work, but the included battery is the brightest by a little. If you’re the type of person that uses a flashlight to inspect and point to things all the time, this is your light without question!

Beautifully anodized Admin / EDC light
I know it's not to everyone's taste, but the candy orange anodizing on the body of this light is absolutely striking. The L2 is a 14500 cell (supplied) powered admin light that is just the right size in the hand.I got this light for my wife, specifically because it had a dead simple UI and was duel fuel being able to recharge via type c port built direct into the battery cell or run directly off of a standard AA cell.As a flashlight enthusiast, I understand battery safety and I have the ability to charge any rechargeable cell I encounter. My wife does not.She doesn't care to learn either. She just wants a light that works. The L2 just works. As long as she can charge her phone, She can charge the 14500 cell via USB-C.If she can't charge, she knows she can stick a AA in there and she's good to go.I wrote "AA" on the side of the cell with an alcohol based marker. In case she has somehow lost the cell, I wrote it on the inside of the tailcap as well.Trust me when I say, she does not baby this light. It lives a rough existence clipped to her janitor sized key ring via the supplied lanyard. It is absolutely washing machined on a daily basis inside whatever purse she's running for the day and subjected to highly pigmented liquids via make-up products.I washed this light off with grease remover and warm water until the rainbow tinted water ran clear and it looks basically brand new.If you are a gear abuser like my wife, I can confirm this light will take it.The reverse click tail cap is extremely satisfying to fidget with. The Simple UI makes this an ideal light for my wife or anyone who picks it up.Click on, click offHalf-click to cycle modes: low, mid, highDouble half-click for strobePersistant memory allows the light to remeber the last mode used even if the battery has been swapped. This light (battery installed) only weights ~60gComes with:14500 USB-C rechargeable cellDuel direction firction fit pocket clipLanyardUSB-C cableExtra O-ringsThe low mode is just perfect for admin tasks and is her most used power setting by far.If you take nothing else away from this, know that this light single handedly converted my wife from a non-flashlight carrier to someone who can't live without one.I've given her so many different lights and this is the only one that ever found a home in her daily carry. This is an Overbuilt, underpriced homerun.
