Hongso 17.5" SUS 304 Stainless Steel Gas Grill Grates for Weber 3 Burner Spirit Series, Genesis Silver/B/C, Platinum/B/C, 7639/7638

This is our second time purchasing these grates. The first set lasted almost 5 years and we grill almost every day.Perfect fir for our 20 year+ Weber grill.

Perfect fit for the Spirit E-300. Heavy duty.

Quality weight and appearance. Beautiful so far. Flat on one side, curved on the other. Perfect fit. Though my grates were covered under warranty, the replacements didn’t arrive on time. I was so grateful for these. They shipped out fast and Saved my party.

The grates arrived out of square and therefore sat on the grill with overlap at a corner instead of sitting flat. This was NOT due to "transportation, collisions, etc" as the manufacturer suggests. The cardboard and Styrofoam packaging was completely undamaged. Some of the 3 cross pieces were not crossing the the long rods at 90 degrees, so they were definitely welded this way. Impact along the diagonals did not make them fully rectangular, but close enough that they could be placed without corners overlapping. However, the impact broke one of the welds. And these are NOT pure stainless steel: they attract a magnet. I hope the rods are well coated with stainless steel. But there are spots of discoloration on the metal. They might be spots of regular steel showing through the stainless surface that will rust over time. I will provide follow-up after some use.Update after more than a year of use: Even though not pure stainless steel through and through, the rods are NOT rusting, so probably clad in stainless steel which has proven to be durable. And cleaning off baked on drippings is much easier than the original Weber cast iron grates. So I have upgraded my review to 4 stars based on ongoing durability and ease of use.

Fit my 10 year old Spirit 300 perfectly. Solid and heavy. Hoping lasts 20 years.

My apartment complex has two Dyna-Glo DGA480SSN-D grills on the roof for community use. As you might guess no one takes great care of them so the original porcelain-coated grates have been reduced to rusting hulks with chipped coating. After replacing the disintegrating porcelain-coated heat tents with stainless I decided to try the same with the grates themselves. I bought a pack of these and put one on each grill for comparison to the original grate.Overall I have been very impressed with the construction of this item. The grates I received were not warped and none of the welds are broken. The 7mm diameter rod is a nice hefty size; these things are heavy and sturdy. It's only been a couple months but so far there are no signs of rust which would be indicative of poorly sourced stainless. Your grill shouldn't reach a temperature where the 304 stainless will get brittle.An important note on the size of these grates. The grilling area of the Dyna-Glo is approximately 16.5 - 18" x 26.5". You need something that is at least 17.5" in length otherwise it will slip off the ledge that holds it over the burners. In that regard these grates are the perfect length. As for the width, the 11.9" is a little short so there will be a significant gap on the edges. Unfortunately this item is the widest stainless I could find that was at least 17.5" in length. If you go this route I recommend finding something to jam into the gap so the grates don't move around too much.Update: 5/27/21:After one season of use these are still holding up fairly well. As can be seen in the second picture there is some light rust on a portion of the grate however it has not affected the welds or wire in any meaningful way. I still expect these things to last for many season to come.
