Heads up. Not your typical geotextile fabric
Heads up! This is slightly different than typical non woven geotextile fabric.I got the 6ft version of fabric in this listing and it was quality fabric like I'm use to buying. However, the 4ft is different, not in a bad way, just know this so you get it for intended purpose. This 4ft geotextile fabric looks woven on one side and non-woven on the other. I read deep into the description and it does list this far into the details, but I didn't notice it since I have not seen this before in the fabric I've bought in the past. It still works for the purpose I'm using it for, just be aware. It is intended for what they say, under walkway, pavers, etc.. This fabric does seem strong and the combo should make it last.Quality stuff, just make sure you want it for your use case. Cheers!

Great product for drainage solutions
The PioneerWorks Geotextile Landscape fabric works fantastic. it offers sufficient coverage. I highly recommend it for any landscaping project. It holds up well under tough conditions and has lasted a good while since I installed it. Installation was straightforward, and it came neatly packaged in a roll. I used it as a French drain it's controlling an erosion and drainage problem I previously had.

Some reviews say this is not like other 6oz they've used, but it seems plenty sturdy to me
Nice Stuff. I read reviews before I bought this and some said this stuff was not like other 6oz geo textile that they had used before. I decided to take a chance on it anyway. Now after doing one project with it - it seems plenty sturdy to me. I'm glad that I went ahead and got it. I almost didn't because of some of the reviews. Plus, I ran around town and wasted time and didn't like the quality of ANY of the stuff in the box stores here locally, nor the prices. Anyway, I used this stuff for part of a septic gravel bed that I renewed (and also added a clean-out slash observation port to). All the septic companies want ten$ of thou$and$ to renew a septic gravel bed. I did it on my own for a few bucks with a shovel, some gravel, this geo cloth and 4 jugs of Roebic drain field liquid enzymes. Plus now I have a direct clean-out pipe to pour Roebic directly down into my leach bed any time I need. The Roebic was magic at clearing the biomat. Great stuff. I highly recommend it. It was actually cheaper/easier to pick up locally. Anyway, back to this geo cloth. I really like the cost vs. how tough this fabric is. I'm definitely going to be using this for all the french drains I want to put in around here. And as far as 3 ounce, 4 ounce, 6 ounce goes... whatever this stuff is, I had a hard time punching nails through it - even just one layer of it, let alone two or three layers where it was overlapped. Maybe my old recycled nails weren't sharp, but either way, I had to use a little trim hammer to tap them into the dirt through this cloth. I used old 16p nails around the top just to keep the cloth in place as i dumped layers of gravel down into the hole with the wheel barrow. Maybe landscaping pins would push through more easily - don't know. I do know that I have a bunch of landscaping pins somewhere in all my junk and I have run into them a million times over the last 3 or 4 decades WHEN I DIDN'T NEED THEM. Of course, when I finally needed them for a project, I could not find them. The wife probably threw them out. lol. So yeah, two thumbs up on this cloth. If I ever have to dig up that corner of the leach bed again, I'll update to let everyone know if this cloth disintegrated in the ground over the years (or not). I do know that this stuff is a lot like the stuff that was already in the ground over my leach bed (which was installed 16 years ago in 2008) and I had to cut a big chunk of the old cloth out to get to my old gravel bed to remove some of it and to be able to pour the Roebic directly into the bed. So I feel this stuff is going to last just as well because the two cloths are very much alike. Btw, in the pics, the role is small because I used a lot. That's not how it looks when it arrives, it's way fatter of course. I got the 4ft x 50ft roll and was impressed by how much I had left. I was expecting to use it all up but got good coverage so didn't need to use up the whole roll. Last tip I'll give is if you're doing anything with septic gravel or french drains, don't use "landscaping" or "gardening" cloth, that stuff is nothing like this type of real geo cloth.

Started off pretty good
I couldn't help but notice that the further I got into this new landscape fabric that I really liked, it was getting thinner as I got closer to the end of the roll. I would have given 5-stars, but it appears that the company got stingy at the beginning of the roll. I purchased two rolls initially and just ordered two more rolls today because I realized I need more. I sure hope the other 3 rolls aren't like this.
