A brilliant NVR, we can seamlessly view and share footage from this to our phones. We have 4 users on our system, and not one of us have experienced any issues.I have paired 4 indoor cameras and 2 outdoor cameras. The footage loads instantly whilst on the app and using the NVR directly.The system is easy to use, and there are loads of settings if you need to fine tun motion settings etc.I compared with multiple other brands, and for the money I don't think you can beat this system.

Good nvr, easy to use. Spend a little while yo set everything up how you want it, and it's a good machine.

I already have Reolink cameras so decided to purchase this. I assumed that I would be able to hide it away (it's got plenty of antennae after all) with just a power supply and it would do it's thing. However - these antennae send out it's own wifi signals (both 5G & 2.4G) they don't provide connection to your existing home network. I found both 5G & 2.4G freqs. to be quite limited in coverage. I have 2x 5G cameras but neither of them could 'see' the 5G signal (both got the 2.4G).In the end I re-set the cameras back to my home mesh network and connected the NVR to the mesh via an access point - NVR spotted them with in a few minutes and added them to it's system. This is all due to my complete mis-undestanding of how the unit works - I have to be honest in that I didn't research any of it's specs. - but it didn't behave quite as I expected it to.That all said it's working fine. Easy to link to the Reolink app and works as it should even though my set-up isn't quite what Reolink intended. If you're used to the Reolink app you'll find the NVR software a little lacking - you can't change ALL camera settings through it (eg wifi settings, password) - you'll find that you need the app to provide full control

I bought this with the plan to use it with the old Reolink cameras, but the new NVR somehow locks the old cameras with a password, than you have to do factory reset and even if you do factory reset, if you power off and on few times it will lock them again. I gave up trying, sending back.

The configuration and setup is easy. With the WiFi connection multiple Reolink WiFi cameras can be easily connected. This provides the ability to monitor all cameras from anywhere with no ongoing additional charges.

This NVR is not bad and does what it should, but I had to return it due to weak signal strength. It struggled to maintain a stable connection with the camera at the rear of my house, leading to frequent dropouts. If you need strong wireless coverage for cameras further away, this might not be the best choice. I’ve now switched to the Reolink Home Hub, which is cheaper and has provided a much better connection in my experience so far.

This NVR creates its own WiFi network for cameras to connect to, which makes it very easier to segregate the cameras from other devices on your main network, you can also manage the cameras almost entirely from the NVR, so no need to download any Reolink software to your devices, if you're concerned about their privacy policy, there are however some settings that still need the app, such as enabling RTSP. Reolink's support team seem to be very responsive and their website is also full of great information.
