I dehydrate food from my garden and fruit trees. I use many of these and they keep food fresh that I would otherwise need to refrigerate. I love that I can see what's inside the bags, so no need to label them.

The gold foil is a very catchy color, easy to fill and seal. Love the large clear side to see products instead.

Perfect for treats and candy.. not good for long term storage of regular food though

I bought these aluminum gusseted sealable bags for candy I made at Christmas. When I preserve food, I choose bags that are mylar and have no windows. But for something that's going to be consumed in a short amount of time, these bags are sufficient. The gusseted bottoms made the bag stand up which added to their appeal in display. The clear front sides allowed for a visual of the contents. If I run out of these, I will certainly buy more, but again, only for short-term items.

I ordered these thinging they were a bit larger but they are fine. We sell a custom cookie and wanted that shine of the gold metallic. We can get 2 nice sized cookies in each. Not bad but hoped for 3-5 in each bag. Super good quality bags just pay attention to the size.

I really like these but you have to be careful because I had 2 out of the 6 that I used where the bottom split out along the fold lines. Just don’t overfill and you should be okay. Open out the gusset carefully.
