Regular traps weren't working, this one did work
These are great mouse traps, a bit pricey... but they can be re-used and they work better than regular & sticky mouse traps. My only advice would be to make sure that you check these daily. I set some up, went on vacation, and they worked.... But I was away for a week, and the mouse began to decay inside the traps. It took some thorough cleaning, but I was able to re-use them and even ended up buying more. The mice I had seemed to be smart and were avoiding normal mouse traps and sticky traps, which was very frustrating. The way these traps are made entice the mice inside and really zaps them dead. Worth the price to see the traps were working.

“Finally, a clean and effective way to handle mice indoors!”
I was skeptical at first, but these Victor electric mouse traps really impressed me. Setup was quick and simple, and I love that I don’t have to touch or see anything unpleasant afterward — just empty and reset. Within the first couple of nights, the traps did their job, and the whole process was much more sanitary than traditional snap traps or glue boards. What I appreciate most is the humane, no-mess design. The trap gives a quick result without suffering, and I feel a lot better using this versus sticky traps. The small indicator light makes it easy to know when it’s time to empty, and the battery life has been strong so far.For anyone dealing with mice indoors, this is a smart investment. It’s effective, easy to use, and much cleaner than old-fashioned methods. I’ll definitely keep these on hand.

Mouse:1 Me:0 (so far).....it's now 2 to 1 ... (See newest update on refills.)
I purchased three of these for different areas (open back porch, garage and open front porch). Arrived in 4 hours (amazing!). Easy to set up and intuitive. Also easy to empty (if there was a mouse....). I like the design. No poison and the deceased mouse is enclosed, so my dog won't start to use it like a stuffed toy. Perfect! So far the trap worked very fast. First mouse encounter within 3 hours. Set it against a wall, just as recommended. Green light flash. BINGO! First rodent casualty. Took the electrocution chamber off, went to the disposal area, opened the door...and what did I find? Bait gone...and a pile of mouse poop. No mouse.I think that I created a Franken-mouse. A few hundred volts didn't phase my little rodent...except to blow the poop out of him. I swear that when I went to dump the chamber there was a high pitched laugh from the corner of the patio. Maybe it's just my imagination.Oh well. It was easy to clean out. Reload and replace.Watch out critter. I haven't given up yet. Will update this review in the future. Gotta run. Quasimodo-mouse is knocking at the door.Update - about 5 days. Frankenmouse:2 Me: 0 It's not looking good for this product.fOk. Update #2. It's now Frankenmouse 2, Me:1 Seemed pretty effective. Let's see how it performs with a re-loaded bait chamber. (Easy to empty and reload). Because of the updated score, I bumped this up to 4 stars!Final update #3: These traps seem to have "hit a rhythm" and I have been successful in getting a number of mice. I didn't keep count, but it's more than 6 or 7. In fact, on our porch, I once got TWO mice at the same time.Overall, I really like these traps. Easy to set and ignore...until the light goes on. Then they are easy to empty, and I put them where a local hawk can get the critter....better than tossing them away. (and there is no poison that I need to worry about). Overall I bumped these up to 5 stars! With that, I will end my review of this product.Update.....Ok, I am a full believer. With three traps strategically placed on our porches, I have caught probably a dozen or more mice. I give the full contraption a 5 Star rating.HOWEVER, I had to buy some refills for the trap chamber. (I won't tell you why...), and I saw both after market versions and the more expensive "original" chambers. Based on reviews, I went with the far more expensive "original" replacement chambers.Well, they seem to work ok, but don't fit quite as well as the original chambers of the full trap. Plus....the traps do NOT have the "vector" image in the plastic top. I suspect that these are NOT original vector trap chamber replacements and are aftermarket products.Given that, I would probably try the less expensive aftermarket versions (they are a lot less expensive). But overall, I still think this is a great trap.

STELLAR CUSTOMER SERVICE! ⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️
⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️HONEST REVIEW HERE:I've always preferred snap traps over glue traps, as glue traps strike me as unnecessarily cruel, and using poison isn’t an option because I worry about wildlife coming across poisoned, dead mice. My rural home is surrounded by hundreds, maybe thousands, of acres of farmland and fields—corn, beans—so mice are unavoidable, no matter how diligent I am. For years, my cat handled the occasional field mouse, but since she passed away a few years ago, the problem has gotten worse: now I find evidence daily, where before it was just every so often.Initially, I stuck with snap traps, but they proved inefficient, with a lot of missed or partial catches. More heartbreakingly, I repeatedly found critically injured but still alive mice and having to euthanize them was devastating, and it was clear I needed a better solution. So, I decided to try these electric traps, and overall, I’m happy with their performance. They’re effective, with clean instant kills. Easy mouse disposal and zero critically injured half alive mice. But after a only few successful catches, one stopped working. I made sure to clean the plates and replace the batteries, but the bait kept disappearing without triggering the trap, and I had no way to reliably test the unit except for the green light indicator. Unfortunately, this happened just after my Amazon 30-day return window, so I reached out to the manufacturer through their portal here on amazon and explained the situation: these work well, but I can't afford devices that quit after only a handful of catches. Not in this economy. To my surprise, without any hassle and before I even heard back, I received a replacement in the mail today—just two days after I sent my message. I haven’t even checked my inbox yet to see if they replied. Wow! Color me impressed!More companies should offer this level of customer service and genuinely care about their customers’ satisfaction. Because of this positive experience, I’ll be buying a few more of these traps. Thank you, Victor!
