The Lagavulin Distillers Edition takes everything great about the classic 16-year-old and elevates it to another level. The Pedro Ximénez sherry cask finish adds a deep, rich sweetness that beautifully complements the signature Lagavulin peat smoke.On the nose, you get waves of campfire smoke mixed with dark fruits, toffee, and a touch of sea spray. The first sip is incredible—bold, smoky, and complex, yet balanced with notes of raisins, dark chocolate, and a hint of spice. The finish is long, warming, and slightly sweet, with lingering smoke that keeps you coming back for more.If you love Islay whiskies but want something with a bit more depth and complexity, this is a must-try. It’s smooth, well-rounded, and dangerously drinkable. Perfect for a special occasion or a slow evening by the fire. Highly recommended!

This is a luxury whiskey and makes a fantastic special gift for any whiskey lover. Comes in a nice box, again great for gifting. Lagavulin is a top quality brand. It has a peaty flavour. Any whiskey lover would be happy to receive this magnificent edition.

Delicious caramel smoke and biscuit.
Not the biggest fan of Lag 16, don’t really get the hype. I love peaty Isley whiskeys. They are my go to.However, this is in my humble opinion knocking the socks off 16.
