Sucks hot out, Keeps lenses clear
This isn't so much for cooling you off and keeping you sweat free as it is for pulling the hot, humid, and fogging air out of your face and feeling the lenses clear. It works well, I usually charge it when I charge the headset and it runs for the half hour I so I work out.

Most complaints are due to misinformation and poor assembly.
This defogger works exactly as described. Yes, you will continue to sweat into the mask as you would if you were working out anywhere. The defogger exchanges air by pulling the foggy air out of the mask. It is not an air conditioner; it is an exhaust fan. It attaches very well to the supplied faceplate and if properly installed can easily be charged without removal. When I go in for a workout I warm up with a couple rounds of Pistol Whip, do 20 minutes of Les Mills, then box some rounds in Thrill of the Fight. Normally this would mean I would have to stop, remove the Oculus, dry my face, wait a a few minutes to cool down in order to see the game. I would have to sometimes do this 5 or 6 times in one workout and a lot of times, coming out of VR during exercise, I would quit. With this defogger I would estimate I could stay in there until the Oculus ran out of battery. Well worth the $20!

7/10 build quality, great for the price
It definitely works but not like you might expect. Definitely helps with excessive sweating and fogging for long sessions.I stream with my oculus and with my charging strap sometime run for 6-8 hours and this is exactly what I needed. If you're looking for air conditioning in your oculus it might not be what you expect. The quality is decent but the fan does like to fall out and the extender used to house it is a little difficult to install/keep in sometimes, but you can find solutions to fix the looseness. The battery lasts for a long while and it doesn't make it uncomfortable in any way definitely recommend.

it's not reliable.
Disappointing! It kept on falling from the headset. The black item where is supposed to be attached kept on coming out too.

Effective but not comfortable
On the topic of preventing fog, it was a complete success. I have done multiple workouts with no issue. On the topic of battery life, it is on track to go well above advertised. So why only 3-star. It is unbelievably uncomfortable. There is very little padding and what is there is not well placed. It is basically hard plastic against your forehead and cheeks.

Crude product but functional
The media could not be loaded. The good - it works enough to be noticeable in a high intensity game like Hyper Dash. The bad - The fitment on the top of the Quest has no security and is extremely flimsy as it holds itself on the face piece's vent holes. I had to use rubber bands to hold the fan down onto the face piece from falling off since it felt cheesy for high motion games. I don't like that it looks ghetto. There was a perfect opportunity to use the bottom sticker as an adhesive onto the quest to secure it.The face mask cushion needs to be readjusted because it might block the proximity sensor that's on top of the number causing it to not start. It will also slip sometimes during a game and black you out.If connecting this to a battery management system, you will only be able to use the slowest speed while it is charging. When using standalone, all three speeds are available. Not a deal breaker but annoying. There are typos all over the instruction manual, which is usually expected, but this was just too much.At least they include the USB cable.
