Very good if you put them in a toaster oven. Out of the bag, they were all wet. You must put the bag in the fridge (as instructions say) or they will be moldy in 24 hours.Instructions are lacking. Most people are unfamiliar with chestnuts.

I would like to say that they are great but I never received them. They were my mother's day gifts for my mom.

Nice for a fairly low calorie snack but I usually use them to make Chestnut Honey Ice Cream, one of my favorite Fall/winter desserts.

I love chestnuts. I ordered these because I have tried them at whole foods and found them to be quite delectable. When the product arrived I tore in! “Hmmmm...” I thought to myself as my teeth scraped through what may be the driest substance I have ever had in my mouth. Honestly it felt like.... wow, I truly cannot find a description for it. Maybe like molding clay with absolutely NO moisture... or perhaps dry dirt... anyway, I kept eating because I’m poor and I love chestnuts and they remind me of someone I love. There was very little flavor, it was almost non existent. I had nightmares throughout the night and woke up many times with a terrible pain in my stomach. When morning came I puked! Kid you not. I think this product gave me food poisoning.
