Perfect replacement for an original battery in a HP Pavilion 15-cs0064st laptop. The tools needed to open the laptop (screwdrivers and guitar pick) were included - a nice touch for those that don't have the specialty screwdrivers and something to safely pry the laptop bottom off. Fit for the replacement battery was perfect; the places for the hold-down screws lined right up. If you do the HP battery check, you'll likely receive a "battery failure" error message, but don't worry - the replacement battery charges, holds the charge and provides the correct voltage and amperage to power the laptop just fine. I suspect that there's a chip in the OEM batteries that identify them as HP OEM batteries, which, of course, this battery is not. HP is famous for doing that with their printer cartridges, so it doesn't surprise me that they would doing that with their other replacement products. The only question is how well this battery performs over time - we'll have to see. After two weeks, so far so good!

it works great in the beginning. But 8 months later, the laptop kept shutting down at 67% of power. It can't be restarted unless I plug it in.20241224 updateI email them the same day I make the review. I sent my order # etc. It's within the 12 month warranty period. Within 48 hours I got a replacement battery on my doorstep.Very good customer service.I upgraded this from 2 to 4 stars because of the great service.I installed the replacement battery with the tools they supplied. I purchased this battery as a replacement for my Hp Envy 360x convertible laptop. My laptop is 7 or 8 years old and the battery started swelling and needed to be replaced. This one is almost a perfect fit. The screw holes are a little off so it was a little challenging to get it aligned but after I got the screws started things went smoothly. It's nice it comes with screwdrivers in case you don't have them. Right now it's a great battery. We'll find out in a couple months if it's still functioning well.

I replaced a battery on my 4-year-old HP Pavilion. I was concerned about two things. Would it be difficult to open the case without damaging anything inside? Would the new battery fit well and provide power properly?No, it wasn't too difficult to open the laptop. There are several YouTube videos, and the one I used was slow, detailed, and helpful. You do need some simple electronic tools, which I have. There are some things you should know before you try. These batteries aren't like dry cell flashlight batteries. The consistency is a bit like handling a cold, wrapped, butter stick and you don't want to deform it with rough handling or by dropping it on the floor.Yes, it fit easily and powered up just fine.How long will it last? It's only been a month, so I'll have to wait and see.

I watched a YouTube video before I ordered the battery. The guy used and old credit card to separate the laptop bottom. When I got the kit with the pick, I thought cool, I can use that instead of a credit card. Unfortunately the pick wore out and didn't do the job. An old credit card did work much better. BTW I also upgraded the memory while I had the laptop open. Worthwhile doing that as the laptop isn't fun to open up and it runs much better.Update: Almost a year later, my battery developed a quirk where it would all of a sudden shut down randomly. I contacted at customer support, which within a couple of days had a new battery to me. Their customer service is excellent. I was so happy they have a one-year warranty.

Fits ok to an HP Envy360... Not perfectly but not horribly too. One of the screw ears around the battery cracked due to very tight fitting into its space. Computer gave a few weird signals once it was installed within 48 hrs. At the moment of installation charge showed 55% which was ok and after a reasonable amount of time it became 100%.But when next morning my wife turned it on (her laptop) she called me to check it out because all her icons at the bottom of the screen was disappeared and turned into horizontal lines instead where they supposed to be. Also laptop seemed to be frozen.I've had to hard reset by long pressing the power button waited 30 seconds and turned it on again and that time it all worked ok.It has only been 4 days so far and too early too evaluate the longevity of the battery but hopefully it'll last some time. After all even if it goes bad after a year still ok to spend $30 once every 12-18 months I guess.The original battery was bubbled up so bad we were scared of a fire. My wife didn't even noticed it until one day she called me to fix a software update issue on her computer. I never use her computer and once I did, I immediately noticed the lump on her laptop and took the original battery off.Thank God it was an easy job and a timely found problem... Please be very careful with these LiOn batteries!
