I like Shinken of Swords because I got a tanto from them as well that was of exceptional quality. They do a great job of making a shiny and tough blade that comes sharp and stays pretty sharp with moderate use (Assuming you're using proper technique). I also love how the fittings and handle are all tightly fit and don't wobble or come loose as a lot of cheaper amazon swords do (cheap Amazon sword means $400 and under, authentic and quality production katana are always going to be expensive.) This sword is also nice because the cheaper price seems to come from the fact that they are using cheaper materials like synthetic ito and I assume cheaper metals for the fitting, and maybe synthetic samegawa (can't tell really) instead of it coming from cutting corners in assembly or forging. All in all for a budget sword like this you cannot go wrong. This is the second item I've bought from them so they are definitely good in my book.

This shinken was packed very well. It shipped nicely conditioned and razor sharp! I ran it across a fine grit whetstone prior to testing, but it was mostly unnecessary.The Damascus pattern is 👌. All fittings and the sheath are perfectly snug. Comfortable handle. Definitely a full tang blade here, and the balance point is exactly where I'd like it for a blade this length.My cut tests were flawless and clean, and it looks great on the stand alongside my uchigatana 🤩

This is really a great sword, at an unbelievable price

Arrived on time and was well packed. Great blade with ornate handle as shown in ad. Much heavier than I expected but weighted well. Shieth is solid and blade comes wrapped in sleeve which is easy to remove. Blade is oiled which you may want to wipe before putting in shieth. Great product for the money.

The detail and quality of this sword really impressed me, it feels great and sturdy in the hand, feels authentic and well made with great materials. Doesn’t feel cheap, you won’t be disappointed
