Perfect for my Gaggia Workflow
I recently purchased the MHW-3Bomber Espresso Scale and it has truly transformed my coffee-making experience with my Gaggia Classic Pro. This scale has become an indispensable part of my daily routine, and I can't help but give it a well-deserved 5-star rating. From the moment I started using the scale, I was blown away by its smart features. The gravity sensing device is an absolute time-saver. Placing anything over 100g on the scale automatically turns it on and tares the weight, eliminating the need for those fiddly on/off and tare button presses. This simplicity has streamlined my coffee-making process, allowing me to focus on the art of brewing rather than the setup. The smart mode is where this scale truly shines. The solid-liquid detection function is a genius addition. When brewing, the scale intuitively starts timing as soon as liquids are poured in. It's like having an expert barista assistant by your side, ensuring perfect timing for that ideal cup of espresso. And after the brewing is done, the scale displays a wealth of information, from time and liquid capacity to powder weight and the coveted liquid-to-powder ratio. This level of detail has elevated my precision and consistency to a whole new level.I can't forget to mention the mute function, which has been a dream come true. No more disruptive beeps early in the morning – just a serene and focused coffee-making process. And despite its powerful capabilities, the scale maintains a compact footprint. Its small size fits seamlessly alongside my Gaggia Classic Pro, taking up minimal space on my countertop. The USB charging port is the cherry on top. With a 1500mAh rechargeable lithium battery, I no longer need to worry about buying and replacing batteries. It's an eco-friendly choice that also saves me from unexpected battery shortages. To sum it up, the MHW-3Bomber Espresso Scale is an essential tool for any coffee enthusiast, especially those working with the Gaggia Classic Pro. Its intuitive features, smart mode, compact size, and convenience of USB charging make it a standout product in the world of coffee equipment. If you're serious about perfecting your coffee-making workflow, do yourself a favor and invest in this exceptional scale. It's a game-changer that has earned its place in my heart and on my countertop.

Great for our needs
It started off as our dedicated scale for making espresso, but I find myself using it for almost everything. It seems very accurate and consistent and the body is easy to keep clean. Battery lasts a long time with daily use as well.

Use the correct charger
Short story - I would recommend this scale. Use the right charger.PROS - I like the price. I love the auto-on feature, how it powers up and tares after I place the grinder on the scale. I love that it is accurate to one tenth of a gram. When I removed the grinder from the scale, it has registered the same weight since day one, so accuracy seems good. It looks nice. The display is easy to read. Perfect size for my grinder. It sits firmly with no wobble. No charging issues. No button issues. Easy to clean. I dont use the timer so I can't comment.CONS - The Input voltage and amperage are not posted on the back of the scale like every other USB charged device. I found the manufacturer recommendations, about charging, a little confusing.Long story about chargingI bought my 3BOMBER scale in the summer of 2024, charged it up, and found it lasted about 6 months of daily use. I recently learned, from an inexpensive flashlight that it could matter what size charger you use. I also learned that USB-C does not always mean use a 3 amp charger. READ YOUR MANUAL. I suggest you use the charger that matches the imput voltage/amps posted on the device or in the manual. I found the manufacturers recommendations (posted an image) and rule #1, The 3BOMBER scale is compatible with a 5 volt, 1A or 2A charger. A 3A charger may damage your device. Rule #2 gets wonky. Not sure why I would need to charge it after each use. But I do agree you should not let it run completely down. The battery indicator has 3 ticks. It dropped one tick after 2 months, a second tick after 4 months and I caved and charged it the second time before that last tick went away. Lithium-ion batteries have some memory effect but nothing like the old nickel-cadmium batteries.

Good product, but battery longevity is bad
Great scale on most fronts, but the battery stopped charging efficiently/holding a charge after ~1 year, which is just outside of warranty.

Takes a minute to get used to
Had to watch a video on you tube to use it because the instruction manual is poorly written and is in the smallest font possible. However, after a few extractions I have the auto feature down, which is really cool. I also wouldn't have named the timer button T because its easy to get it mixed up with tare. Other than that, I am really happy with it and recommend it to those who want to time their doses.

Does not last!
Stay away from this scale, only lasted about a year. It will not take calibration no matter what I have tried! Different scaleWeights used with wrong scale weight numbers. From 5 grams all the way to 100 grams, numbers come back wrong.

Coffin scale
I only ordered this to go along with other products for my coffee station. It’s literally the most useful thing we use. You get a spot on read. The battery life is amazing. It literally helps weight the beans perfectly to achieve a perfect cup of coffee.

Perfect upgrade
My chief complaint with my old scale was that it was very slow and unresponsive. This scale fixed that, while also being smaller. Fits under my espresso machine but still big enough to use for pour-over. The battery lasts ages, and the controls are fairly intuitive (plus it's easy to find guides online).
