WOLF Windsor 10-Piece Watch Box, Black - Features 10 Watch Compartments & Vegan Leather Exterior

I bought this case a year ago through Amazon for a little over $100. It’s still a good bargain at its current price. The case looks much better than the Amazon picture.The spacing between the compartments is good. My watches are between 38mm & 42mm, so there is about a 1/2” gap between watch cases. The pillows have the right texture and consistency, so it’s easy to wrap the watch band around them.The build quality is excellent. I wear a different watch every day, so the case is opened and closed daily. The lid is attached with a piano hinge, so it’s as sturdy now as when it was new. I cleaned and reconditioned the leather (Wolf calls it “black pebble faux leather”) recently and it looks really great… a beautiful satin black finish.The lock works fine, but I don’t use it because I figure that a thief would just take the entire case rather than take each watch individually (at least that’s what I would do).I’m not sure if the glass is tempered or not. I dropped the lid a few times and the glass didn’t crack, so it’s not fragile.As an aside, Wolf also offers the case in black with purple lining, and brown with orange lining.

Bought this for my husband's growing watch collection. He had a cheap one that just didn't do the job. This one is fantastic. Well made with attention to detail. The space between the slots is generous allowing for his some of his very large (50-52mm) watches without them banging into each other. The domed lid also allows generous space for large watches. The pillows are a little small but fit his watches perfectly. The watches stay put in the slots. And the box is absolutely beautiful! Real leather, glass lid that show his gorgeous collection. If you collect and love watches, you want to see them all. Helps when choosing the watch for the day. This box is very classy and handsome. A real quality watch box. And it is not easy to find one that holds 15 in one level displaying them all. It does not take up much space. I would highly recommend this watch box to serious collectors. It's spectacular! Worth every penny.

For the price I expect a better material for the pillows (I'll get to that later) but otherwise it's beautiful.The slots are more narrow than typical watch boxes so watches over 40mm will sort of "spill out" and the watch case will be resting on the dividers. The slots have a slight inclination to them so the watches never sit facing up completely. Instead they sit at an angle so the watch face is is looking directly at you ( 45° angle) which is a nice touch.My main reason for buying this was the glass gets as close to the edge of the box as possible. Most other boxes have the glass stop short so you don't get to see half of each watch along the edge. This watch box eliminates that so every watch is in full view even with the lid closed.The pillows feel cheap and are poorly designed. I am almost tempted to give this 3 stars because of this. Like cardboard glued to fabric cheap. For the price and brand name I expected better.They don't feel good in the hands at all. They do look nice to admire the collection tho with the orange. The other issue is that instead of typically being square pillows, WOLF decided to make it rectangular which is a huge mistake. My leather straps have all deformed from being placed on these rectangular pillows. Metal bracelets and even NATO's aren't a big dealh however.Overall its pretty, has a nicer big glass panel, and the watch slots are oriented very nicely. But the cheapness of the pillows and the shape detract from that. Eventually I got used to it but every time I pick up my watches all I can think is how crappy the pillows are

Made well and made a nice gift for organizing and displaying watches.

Overall the manufacturing and materials are of good quality and value for a standard size wristwatch. The two issues - Anything over 44mm the distance between watches are too close. In addition, the size of the pillows are designed for a 7 inch band. 8 inch or larger the watch does not sit tightly secured in the pocket. The problem is the loose fit allows movement both horizontally and vertically in the case. Not exactly what you want if you are moving a watch box in and out of storage. I still recommend the product based on price point.

This watch case far exceeded my expectations. Unlike other watch cases I was considering, it is not made of cheap wood and heavy lacquer, but rather nice black padded leatherette with chrome metal hardware and white stitching for a nice design accent. The fit and finish are excellent, and the case looks beautiful open or closed. The only complaint I have is that the band pillows are hard and have to be squeezed a bit if your watches are adjusted for a thin wrist, and if you want to clasp the bands around the pillows. Still, this is a minor gripe. The price of this case is higher than other 5-watch cases, but it's absolutely worth it in my opinion.

I have been looking for a solid, well made watch case that could hold my larger watches. I have a 20mm thick Omega Z-33 which is way too big to fit in most cases. This wolf box is large enough for that, with plenty of room between the watches, too.

I wanted to get my husband a case to display/store the Invicta watches we have purchased in the last few years. I purchased the plastic box that Invicta sells only to find the inside of the box styrofoam and the outside less than attractive. If you have a nice watch collection, why would you want to store it away in a plastic box? For the price, this was a much better value for my money. It is a very well made, easy on the eye display case. I know my husband is going to really love keeping his watch collection stored in this beautiful display case. More than happy with this purchase.
