Keeps drinks cold…
The Bivo doesn’t disappoint, keeps drinks cold on a warm day ride. It fits in a standard bottle cage, but is tight and challenge to pull out. It holds three ounces less fluid than a typical bottle of same size. I found that I drink more through the Bivo than a standard squirt from traditional bike bottle. It is easy to clean post ride!

If it's leaking you just put it together wrong!
I really like the bottle, but I see a lot of people having trouble with it leaking saying that they think the product is defective. That's likely not the case! If you cleaned the bottle and took the mouth piece off it's likely not seated right. Look under and make sure the rubber fins are seated in the cap properly! Whenever I take it apart to clean the rubber mouthpiece doesn't seems to seat properly without a little bit of adjusting. Once it's in place though I have no issues. I think it's just an alignment issue when you put it back together that's very easy to fix.

Game changer
Have over the years, purchased every insulated bike bottle that I come across. My pupose is to have an ice cold drink on a long ride. Anything plastic/insulated simply do not work. No matter how hi-tech or expensive they are. There are literally hundreds of steel vacuum insulated bottle our there, but there are a scarcity of bike oriented bottles out there. This is where Bivo come in. I fill it up with ice and water the night before and its ready to go in the morning. I live in a tropical country in Central America where the temperature is 90F,90% humidity all year round, this is where Bivo shines. All the drawbacks of steel bottles i.e. lower capacity cannot squeeze the bottle etc. are there, but it is not an issue with. Bivo has a unique free flow lid that works perfect. I refill the bottle when empty and there is still ice to keep my second-round cold. Absolutely no problem with water bottle cages. O-rings, yep! They can pop out. Be mindful of that. It happened to me. Short email to Bivo customer service, new O-rings being shipped out to me within an hour of me sending the email. Look forward to Bivo's future design iterations. Good job Bivo!

Water stays cold
I bought this bottle because I was tired of drinking warm water while cycling. Well the water stays cold with this bottle! The bottle is easy to clean. I like the outside coating used on the bottle. I have read from previous reviews that it may scratch. So far I have not experienced this.

You'll Never Buy Another Water Bottle
Best investment I've made that doesn't have to do with an upgrade to my bike. Water stays cold and doesn't taste like plastic.

Bivo: the good, the bad, an honest review
The TLDR: a bit heavy, slightly larger than Camelbak (read below for cage suggestions), ice-cold water for days, crazy fast flow rates.Preface: I’ve been a long time user of Camelbak Podium Ice bottles, but here in Tulsa during the summer there is only so much one can do to keep water/nutrition cool when heat indexes move north of 110f. For Podium Ice I’d freeze them half full and this would allow me to go a good 90ish minutes, though this would fall short on Wednesday Night Rides and endurance Saturdays. Full freeze would swell the bottles and torture my bottle cages, and just ice would be gone in under 60min. Try drinking warm bottle nutrition when you are already overheating. YMMVI’ve had one ~70 mile/3hr ride with these bottles and have good and not-so-good to report. For me, the positives massively outweigh the minor issues, though you might find different.First, these bottles don't really fit all of my cages. Arundel carbon are a very tight fit, Wolf Tooth titanium slightly less so. I don't plan to use either with these bottles. Lezyne side load are a ‘good fit’, though I had bottles twice try to eject themselves on rough pavement during this ride- my calves pushed them back in. Will not use side load cages going forward either. Arundel plastic cages have the flex and are more secure. I would suggest something similar.Second, these bottles weigh more. This is not a big deal to me as I’ve been cutting weight this year and a couple hundred grams is not going to hurt my bike weight per-say. I’ve uploaded pics so you can see the difference. What I did notice is that pulling these slightly larger and slightly heavier bottles from a cage while in a peloton was a bit nerve-wracking at first, I got used to the weight by the end of the ride. Hold a bottle by your teeth also was a bit noticeable at first. Finally, three hours in the sun. Garmin shows I set out early morning (pre-dawn) at 81f and finished at 97. This peloton averaged 20.5MPH and I could tell fellow riders were feeling the heat. But, with about 5 ice cubes in each bottle I had constant ice water to keep my core temp down. Both bottles still had ice at the finish.Drinking from these bottles has to be the easiest bottle I’ve ever used. There is a tube that extends inside the bottle and this allows air into the bottle as you drink. The effect is that you can up-end this bottle, and when it’s open (pull top) it will just free flow out. When you pull from the nozzle while drinking, it dumps out. This was not something I considered when purchasing, though it might be the single biggest positive, abet just behind the vacuum insulation.Cleaning - i had Tailwind nutrition in each bottle. At the house, post ride and a rise out with water and my bottle brush was enough to easily clean this Stainless Steel interior. Lids seem easy to clean as well. Bivo has a Youtube short video on the lid cleaning (hint both nozzle and hose can be disassembled from lid for easier cleaning and most parts are dishwasher safe). Finally the finish scratches easily. I've got several scratches on one bottle as I tried to fit it amongst my different bottle cages. These scratches as a bummer, but they are not going to affect the operation/insulation/etc.

Life changing :) Cold!!
Nothing worse than warm carb drinks on long rides. This bottle keeps everything very cold and easy to pour. Does not weigh terriblly more than plastic, but significantly worth the extra few ounces. Only small downside is that it gets pretty scratched after a few rides.

Great water bottle
My husband bought 2 of these. He loves them. Keeps his water ice cold when doing long bike riders in the summer heat.
