Got this for our vacation, planning on using it to hold my iPhone 15 Pro Max on our flights. For this, it worked great. We found an amazing, unexpected use for this while on our trip: time-lapse videos of the stars and sunsets. This clamps onto a deck railing perfectly. With this amazing holder, we were able to capture sunsets and the stars crossing the sky each night. Holds phone firmly with mag-safe compatible magnets. Can reposition easily, changing angles of phone and then hold position firmly. 100% recommended!

Used this on my carry on while sitting at the airport and it worked great on the plane tray! Clips right on and is very adjustable so you can view phone at any angle. It has a very strong magnet and works really good with my magsafe case. Easy to put away and store in our tech bag when traveling.

I usually don’t write reviews unless the item ordered exceeds my expectations. This travel phone holder did! It does everything as advertised but it seems this manufacturer went out of their way to insure you are pleased with your purchase. Instructions were clear. The holder is heavy duty with a strong spring. It will work perfectly on the airplane. This is great value for the money. I’m very pleased.

Purchased for an upcoming trip, was able to test on a long haul flight to Asia with light to moderate turbulence. It kept the phone in place and didn't fall off the tray table. The phone did pop loose during significant turbulence or when bumped by the neighbor.Now, the only reason it's not getting 5 stars is that with a MagSafe Otterbox/Lifeproof FRE case on an iPhone 14, the magnet assembly does not fit flush on the phone horizontally, as there is a slight gap towards the hinge due to the case configuration. This may be occurring on other cases as well, and in significant turbulence, allows the phone to come free of the magnets. I know that the additional ring could be mounted to the case exterior, but as there is one on the interior already, I really don't want to add an another. Therefore, I might take a small sanding disk to the mount to create a groove for the case to sit in.

Grabbing arm mechanism works really well for first 2-3 uses now it won’t hold onto anything. Magnet strength weakens over time too. Honestly this thing couldn’t even survive 2 different plane flights 😡

I travel 200,000 miles + each year. I take it with me everywhere and it works awesome! It holds my IPhone with case tightly; even through turbulence or rough air. I get tons of questions from my seat mates and always recommend it. Excellent price and the perfect solution for securing your phone - and it saves my neck by holding the phone at eye height (with tray table up).

At first i was like this thing sucks and doesn’t have a strong hold. So i almost returned it because i saw the same reviews saying it doesn’t have a strong hold. BUT THEN i inspected the magnets a little more and saw that there was a thin clear film on it that you really cant see naturally to the eye cuz im a stickler for details. I said surely this product is better than this and after inspection i pulled that film off and it a strong hold. Keep in mind i pulled of the film i naturally saw but there was another one behind it that’s very hard to see. I use this on planes, in my car, at the gym. I carry this every where i go.
