Wall Mounted Kitchen Tap, Victorian Retro Sink Mixer Faucet, Double Cross Handle Chrome, PHASAT HN82

We used this tap over a butler sink. It works well, we particularly like the bubbler feature. It looks smart and works well.Good value for money.

Product has fallen apart in less than twelve months! No means of getting a refund.

Like the look, quality and adjustment available, however they are difficult to fix into studwork. The length of thread available for tap connectors is too short. If it was longer a locking nut could be used to firmly secure the unit (see diagram).

This set of taps is of a very high quality and superbly packaged, they even include a small roll of PTFE tape. Unfortunately, for me, I had to return it as it just did not look quite right with the wash hand basin in situ and would have meant major changes to accommodate it. I would not hesitate however to recommend it to prospective purchasers.

The media could not be loaded. Disappointed with this product. When I fitted it, it was fine, within an hour, the customer was on the phone moaning that the tap would not be turned off. You claimed it has been kept 8 million times yet from day one has failed. Completely impossible to get replacement Cartridges as it is clearly a foreign product. Regret buying this product.

You cannot criticise the price, but, as always, you get what you pay for. This will be the third one of these that I've bought, over 4 years.Pro's:I wanted a mixer that came out of the wall.These mixers are very cheap, compared to well-known makes.Quality of the chrome, on the mixer part, is good.Fast 1/4 turn action.Con's:The tap seals do not last very long, maybe 18 months or so before they start to drip, which gets then turns into a trickle. I have not been able to get replacement valves; they seem to have a rare thread.The mixer spout is not chromed brass as you might expect; it appears to be plated aluminium. This is ok, but it's not very tough. I've dented mine while tipping out crumbs from the plastic breadbox. Need to be careful with it.I would buy a more expensive version from a well-known company but I would have to modify the wall connectors to suit the wider attachment points. For the price, I'm willing to put up with the short-lived valves.

I bought 2 sets of these as replacements for taps behind a bar. The taps although look ok, we’re missing important parts inside on the tap insert. Which caused the cold tap to not stop running. I had to find replacement parts for both taps.This was the same on both sets of taps I bought!!
