I actually mounted these under the shelf of my 36" Blackstone griddle so I could have extra storage space. These were perfect for what I wanted and were super easy to install!

I bought 3 sets of these and was able to hang up 8 storage bins with all of the holiday decorations. Such a handy unit. My only complaint is the price and the quality somewhat. The metal is not very thick and was easily bent during installation. Paying $100+ for the 3 sets brought the value down for me, but definitely worth it in the end since now I have a lot more floor space in the garage.

Pretty good value - I bolted it them to 2 2x6s laterally across the joists.

Learn from me, check your stud spacing before purchase.My garage ceiling joists are 20" not 16" - not sure how common/uncommon this is, but my house is about 20 years old in a Phoenix suburb.To make this kit work, I installed 2x6 runners to the ceiling joists, fastened on the 20" spacing. Then hung these brackets across the runners. I opted to only stow the lightest bins since the lag bolts are only going into the horizontal face of the 2x6 vs. the vertical face of the ceiling joists.Since this was the cheapest kit per tub, I opted to not return and just make it work. Other kits seem to have better mounting options but are more expensive.
