Q: How do you clean them?

It is not necessary to clean the balls if they are used according to the instructions. Dryer balls are used in the dryer along with the clean laundry that has already been washed. This should keep balls from getting dirty. If you still want to clean the balls, you can wash them in the washing machine (do not spin too hard) and then dry them in the air or in the dryer if you use them.

Q: If you use essential oils won't it leave oil stains on the clothes

You can use essential oils with your LAHELA dryer balls. Use a single drop on each ball and it will be absorbed instantly. Hot air will vaporize the oil and apply the smell onto the clothes during tumble drying.

They don't have a smell at all. They seem to work well to me.
