Nice looking, would recommend.
This Desk Pad has been nice so far. I bought it because I was having some pain in my elbow from resting it on the desktop when I worked. This pad has alleviated that soreness. The pad seems to be a compressed felt, which is slightly rough to the touch, but not uncomfortable (think the feeling of a felted wool dryer ball but firmer). The textured bottom keeps the pad from sliding around, there is enough room for my keypad, trackpad, and enough space on the side for drinks/phone/notebook to lay while working. The edge of the pad is a little stiff and sometimes irritates the underside of my arms, but I feel this will soften with use. I would imagine that those who have a cold desktop this would be a great warming solution. The color is nice, almost like a soft marbling of grey/white/black.

Great Value - Would recommend buying
I'm giving it 5 stars because it was great for the price although there are definitely some improvements that could be made on this product.Pros(1) clean and simple look(2) felt is decent quality(3) love the color - actually appears a touch lighter than what it looks like in picture.(4) only cost $12 - beats spending $100 for a felt pad on GroveMade (there website is what led me to wanting this cheaper product)Cons(1) felt pad slips as it doesn't have a bottom that grips the desk(2) it came folded up and had a crease in the felt pad. This will go away eventually but it was just kind of annoying that it didn't lay perfectly flat.

great value for the price
perfect size, looks very nice, easy to straighten it out, no creasing, no smell, and very durable. the sharpness at the edges people are complaining about is basically a non issue during normal use when your hands and wrists are elevated to use a mouse and keyboard. it hasn’t bothered me once.. i wouldn’t let those reviews scare you away from buying it.it doesn’t provide the smoothest movement for my mouse but that’s what you sacrifice when you buy this material i think.

Comfy, Good Looking Desk Pad with Non Slip Backing
Arrived earlier than promised (even during the crazy holiday and pandemic fueled online shipping crunch), rolled up with a rubber band in a protective cellophane sleeve. Two photos are attached - one before ironing, one after. When it was unrolled, there was a mark from the rubber band, a few sparse wrinkles, and would not lay completely flat. After ironing with steam, it lays perfectly flat and the wrinkles vanished. It is comfortable to rest my arms on, the mouse glides effortlessly, it is thick enough to provide comfort (but not too thick to be annoying), and it just makes the desk more appealing to look at. Now if I can just keep the clutter off the desk...

Felt Desk Pad
I've had the mat for 7 months now and my only beef is the pilling. I read other reviews and it seems I'm the only one who has this problem. Where my mouse lays and where my keyboard is, the pilling is most prominent. I got to the point where I brought my fabric shaver to work even out the surface! I tried to take a pic but the color does not really lend itself to capturing it well. The corners are a little scratchy like others notes but not enough to bother me. Overall, nice-looking mat and pretty useful.

3+ years and counting
I bought this dark drey mat in February 2021, and it's been serving me well. It adds contrast and style to my desk while giving it a slightly luxurious feeling. I prefer felt to leather. It's going strong, and I highly recommend it.

Happy
It seems like there is a lot of variability in buyer experiences with this one. There is room for improvement, but I am happy with the result. Some have said the quality is not very good. I don’t agree with this. It has held up well over the last 4 months of daily use for me, and I do not see any signs of wear. I even vacuumed it with a motorized hand roller and it wasn’t damaged or worn in any way. I'm no felt connoisseur, but it seems like reasonable quality material to me. And unlike some other cheap pads, there is no separation from the backing material and all the edges look nicely cut.The negative for this pad has been pointed out by many buyers; the packing is simply garbage. The rubber band on the outside left a deep line and the inner-most edge of the roll had significant creasing. In general, the whole thing had moderate wrinkling. After a few weeks of use, it flattened out well and most wrinkling was gone, but the rubber band line and the edge crease never went away. However, all of this went away with 2 minutes of ironing on medium heat with steam. Really though, it took less time than a normal dress shirt for the pad to look perfect. Given how simple of fix this was, I do not think it’s worth taking away a star.3 Year Update: This thing just keeps on trucking. Every six months I brush off the accumulated crumbs, spot clean with a wet towel, and vacuum with the hand roller. This time I hit it with a fabric shaver to get rid of the pilling and it looks brand new. Still no separation in the backing either.

Nooooooooo
First off, this is advertised as a Keyboard/Mouse mat which was my intended purpose. However, this thing is borderline painful to use. The felt is extremely rough and scratchy, and the edges have zero padding which causes it to cut into your arms since they use a thin layer of glue on the outer border.Secondly, this is waaay overpriced. I've gotten keyboard mats that were far cheaper than this one, but far more comfortable and with comfortable stitching. They basically stuck a bunch of silicone beads on a cloth mat, then glued the cheapest felt they could find on top of it.Third, as many people have mentioned, the packaging isn't that great. My experience wasn't as bad as others (I didn't have a rubber band or anything), but it still has a persistent curling around the edges that doesn't want to go down.Overall, I'm pretty shocked at how overwhelmingly positive these reviews are for the subpar product I received.
