The bike is very nice and sturdy, I did have a problem with the throttle. Defective but the seller and customer support sent me a replacement at no cost and it's working well now, I appreciate their fast help, thanks very much for the care, I bought a different no name ebike on here before and the throttle never worked then the wires for petal assist snapped because the crank came loose what a waste... instead buy from these guys! They care..buy Ridstar!!

Update- customer service consistently reached out and have tried to make amends. Which in happy with.Only had this bike for a week. Got it for my son. Had Amazon put it together. Thought it was a good bike until... Front wheel came off. I'll blame the installer for that. But something is wrong with the brakes. The front brakes makes an awful sound. Not a squeak sound but something loud. And the back brakes have to be pressed really hard. I've tried to contact someone but I haven't hard any luck. One person said I didn't buy it from ridstar!!!

Ridstar Customer Service is excellent! I emailed about an issue and they not only responded quickly, but they also, upon review, shipped replacement parts at no cost to me. Based on this experience, I would definitely recommend Ridstar products!

As soon as I opened the box, I noticed the kickstand was broken. Since the bike is quite heavy and I didn’t want to risk it falling over without a functioning kickstand, I held off on riding it and waited for the replacement kickstand to arrive.In the meantime, I took the bike for a few short rides around the neighborhood just to check if it’s working fine and check for any issues like brake alignment, etc. Unfortunately, during those brief rides, several plastic components started to break. First the phone holder, then the finger paddle, and finally the throttle. Once the throttle broke, the bike became completely unusable.I reached out to the seller, who responded by offering to send replacement parts. However, as the photos I’ve attached clearly show, these are not simple parts that can be swapped out easily—they require professional installation. I told the company that this situation is unacceptable, but they’ve refused to offer a refund or send a replacement bike.I paid over $1,000 for a bike I haven’t been able to use properly even once. I don’t understand why I should be responsible for taking it to a repair shop to fix issues that were clearly present from the start. The product arrived defective, and I feel I’m being unfairly held responsible for their poor quality control. I’ve been going back and forth with the company for over a month now since receiving the bike, and they still haven’t provided a proper solution. They’re saying it’s not easy for them to send me a new bike due to shipping costs. Well, I don’t care what you’re gonna have to pay for shipping. I just need to have a working bike when I paid for one.If you’re considering purchasing this bike, I hope you’re fully aware of the risks you’re taking—not just with the product quality, but with the lack of support you may face if something goes wrong.

The bike has met our expectations! My son and I research, decided on Ridstar and have not been disappointed. Performance is excellent in both range and speed. My 13 year old has been very happy with it and receives many compliments from his friends.We are considering buying a pair for myself and spouse.

All the tools needed to put this bike together come with the bike which is a nice touch. The assembly is straight forward, you attach the pedals, handle bars, head light and front tire. The seat on the bike is comfortable the 1000 watt rear hub motor has plenty of power to get up steep hills. My only complaints are the headlight isn’t amazing. Yes you can see what is in front of you but the headlight decorative design keeps you from getting the most out of the light. Lastly there isn’t enough room on the handle bars to add anything extra like side mirrors. Other then that the bike is great for commuting, riding trails or just cruising down the road or street.

I ordered 2 bikes. They delivered earlier than expected and one at a time which freaked me out, but customer service got back to me within 24 hours of contacting. Assembly was really easy took the boys about 30 minutes. The bike performs great going at almost 34 mph! The durability Only downfall is the price for shipping
