High Couple Quartz Clock Movement Replacement Parts with Long Hands and Spade Hanger 208mm/8.2 Inch

I did it! I wasn't sure how to fix my broken clock, but after looking on Amazon and checking a YouTube video, I decided to get this kit. I did have a little trouble taking the old works off my clock. I finally did get it off and applied the new one. My clock is "ticking" away and seems to be keeping the time. Thanks!

Better than described fast ship

The instructions that come with it are different than the instructional video but they are both wrong! I just had to use my logic on how to put it together but my clock now works!

We found a huge clock face at a garage sale one day. It was just a white 20 inch wood circle really, with a hole in the middle and clock numbers painted on the outside, but it was nicely painted and designed so we decided to try and find a "clock kit" that we could install and turn this into a functioning clock. It was hard to find a clock kit with hands large enough to fit our clock face but I finally came across this one. Was disappointed it didn't have second hands but as there were no other options we decided to go for it. It arrived in standard Amazon time and we proceeded to fit it on our clock face.One thing we discovered was the hands are so large they tend to interfere with each other. We had to (carefully) bend the minute hand out a little bit so it wouldn't snag the hour hand. It's been nearly three months and the clock has continued to run on the single AA battery. It keeps up with the other clocks in our house (meaning it hasn't lost or gained any time inaccurately). I'm well satisfied with my purchase and I would buy again. Thanks!

Easy to swap and has worked for the last couple years without issue

This clock movement with new hands was delivered in a paper envelope without any reinforcement to prevent damage. Needless to say, it arrived with the very light, nearly foil hands bent in many ways. No warning labels or advisories were on the envelope.After working to correct the bent hands and trying to flatten them into a usable shape, I attempted to assemble as instructed. Unfortunately, the slotted minute hand was cut too small to fit over the oval movement it was designed to mount.Using a watchmaker tool, I carefully enlarged the minute hand slot to fit the movement mount. All this was wasted effort since the press on mounting head does not seat tightly enough to hold the movement hands in place.Total waste of time and effort, don't waste your money on this worthless movement.

I installed this in a 16" dia wall clock. It has ran for 6 months without missing a beat. I ordered this high torque version because I had trouble with two other movements running for a couple of weeks than loosing time then stopping. I now think I was probably guilty, in the past, of over-tightening the nut which secures the movement to the clock face. after reading some other ratings. This time I was more careful and the results have been great. I sometimes now think the high torque is sometimes like advertising high digital zoom specs in a cheap camera. I ordered this because of the High Torque and I probably could have been more careful in the past not to over-tighten the clock face movement nut. Anyway, I highly recommend this and am very satisfied!!

I’ve used this product several times, and it seems to function and install on the clock just fine, but the way it’s shipped has caused items to bend severely. This isn’t the first time it’s happened to me which is why I’m bringing it up in a review, which I would be happy to adjust with a solution to this problem.
