Quick, really good non-stick coating and solidly made.
This is one of the best things I've bought recently.I have tried it out about 30 times before I wrote a review as the non-stick coating was one of my main concerns. It really is good. I use silicon spatulas and clean it down with kitchen roll, and the omelettes lift off really easily, not sticking at all and the coating seems durable. It heats up more quickly than stated and cooks from start to finish in 10 minutes or less.It fits exactly 2 medium eggs with a couple of chopped up button mushrooms and a pinch of cheese and I'm happy with that, but using large eggs will cause the trays to overflow. It will quickly pre-cook mushrooms or onion too, but I don't find that necessary to make good omelettes. The omelettes really fluff up, in the way only finishing them in the grill would, and I can make omelettes to take to work without the time it would take to do that. It heats up more quickly than a grill you're only going to use a part of, too, so it's quite energy efficient as well.Although it's cheap it's solidly built, saves me time and makes good omelettes. As I live on my own and don't need to make family size quantities, it's ideal for me.

Brilliant omelette maker.
Great little helper. It's fast and makes lovely light omelettes. It's easy to clean and you don't need more than 1 spray of oil. The omelette doesn't stick to it either, it just lifts out easily.

Easy omelettes? Yes please
The best way to make use of our free range eggs? Yes, probably. As we have a few free range hens we're always looking for the best way to use the eggs in the healthiest way possible - hence this omelette maker. As long as we fill each side up to the limit with the egg / onion / cheese / something else mixture it will cook perfectly and the lid tends to rise up when the omelette is perfectly cooked. It's a great way to fake being a good cook so I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who loves omelettes and loves great tasting food.

Too small
Brought this to replace a previous omlette maker which was a different make. Was drawn to this because of the plates, same coating as my sauce pans. Each side is too small and will not take 2 eggs, mind any fillings. Had to use both sides for a 2 egg (medium) cheese omlette. Would have returned if I’d of kept the box. Don’t know how many eggs the other reviewers are using, or we have been sent a totally different item.Follow up, I have now returned this, the eggs stick so left with nothing as a very small omlette. I’ve noticed review settings are set to top reviews, if you go to recent lots of bad reviews.

Great addition to the Kitchen
2 eggs, splash of milk, whisk, pour, leave for 10 minutes and you get perfect omelette. Add whatever you want to them in the mixture. So easy.My wife wanted this and I had reservations as she tends to buy items for the kitchen and they end up gathering cobwebs in the back of a cupboard. Unfortunately, this item would have ended up the same, not because she doesn't love it, just that she tends not to visit the kitchen that often. But the fact that I also think its great has saved it from that fate.Quick, easy, minimum clean, just a quick wipe, and to top it off a perfect omelette means I give this one a 5 star.So to all the men out there, go buy one, you wont regret it!

Great kitchen gadget!
I love this product. Great little kitchen gadget. A real helper. This is my third one of these type of machines. I previously had a Cookwise then a Weightwatchers make. This one is third and best! Feels more robust than the others. Main thing for me is the non stick finish. I've not seen another with this same finish on the market and as I have a terrific frypan/griddle with this kind of finish which I've had for a couple years now and is still like new and so easy to clean and I use it every single day...I just knew this omelette maker would be a good buy. My others had a non stick do she which frankly stuck and burnt everything after I oh a short time. So I've waited to give this review until I've used it quite a number of times.I join everyone else who says just wipe it out with a piece of kitchen roll after use. I swear by giving mine a smear of coconut oil before each use just to assist that easy exit and it literally just lifts and slides onto my silicon spatula and thence onto the plate, perfect presentation EVERY time! It's a little slower to cook than my WW one but that burnt things crazily and so I prefer this as with a little patience my fluffy omelettes (and fried eggs/poached eggs) turn out perfectly and exactly as I like them. The two compartments for the eggs also seen to be a little deeper which I love....I can quickly fry a few mushrooms, onions or diced veg in the compartments prior to adding my eggs and ham, tomatoes or cheese depending upon type of omelette chosen and then with a good filling I need just three eggs for the two omelettes. I think it'd maybe take 4 eggs divided between the 2 compartments if the omelette were plain ones.I put a tiny knob of coconut oil or butter in each side if doing fried eggs and I once did poached eggs using just a little water in each side. It works a treat and cleans like a dream there's nothing to not like about this. Would make a great present too!
