This is a great option to replace a broken case on your original Milwaukee battery. You do have to trim some ribs from the interior of the case and then it fits perfectly and the case seems to be of similar quality of the original.

If you own a power tool odds are you have at leas one or two bad batteries. This is ideal in that situation , majority of time out of a battery pack 1 or 2 cells are the bad ones leaving quite a few good that can be combined to fill this case and make a replacement pack saving most times big bucks Simple to assemble there are numerous parts that need placed correctly and with some knowledge and or experience . Lithium Ion batteries are volatile if mishandled or put together wrong Given the number of pieces in kit although easy to assemble increase possibilities of error. Safety is no accident and Proper protection (PPE) I believe is a must. As far as value if you can make just one battery pack its paid for itself multiple times. my batteries originally cost 199 each on sale, So this is very easy to save money and simple to recommend. Of course as long as safety is #1. This kit is sturdy and you know the content quality. Just a different wrapper

I don’t know why but the battery didn’t fit it was a whole mess.

Very good product if you’re doing complete battery rebuild but if you’re doing a case swap you will need to shave all sides

Materials used in this kit seems to be of decent quality and everything fit together well. The bottom part of the case has a rubber overmoulding, just like OEM. Kit does not include written instructions nor pictures of how everything is supposed to go together. Approximately 8 inches (200mm) of wire will be required, but is not included in the kit. Buyers of these kits should be certain of their electronic/electrical skills otherwise bad things might happen when it comes time to connect the batteries. Tools I used were: #2 Phillips screwdriver, T10 Torx driver, soldering iron, spot welder, wire cutter. The batteries used were 10x Samsung ICR18650-26J. The completed pack works well and there is no lag in power delivery when the trigger of the drill is pulled. I've had third party battery packs that lagged a couple of seconds in power delivery from when the trigger was pulled, which is highly annoying.Other than the lack of clear instructions and pictures, my negatives on the kit are: mine was missing one screw and the LED charge indicators can't be seen when looking at the front of the pack. One has to look down from the top. The indicators on the OEM packs can be seen from any angle. One thing to keep in mind when building this pack is that it's performance is highly dependent on the quality of the 18650 cells used.

I am very pleased with this circuit board for the Milwaukee battery. After I soldered the batteries in place and put it together and slipped the battery back onto the drill it was good as new
