The only safe type of refillable 1lb propane cylinder. Because these have a small vent, when filling they fill quickly (because of the tiny vent) and give a clear indication when filled to safe capacity. Do not believe all the stuff you read about refilling your old non-refillable bottles. All the web instructions will result in a dangerously overfilled cylinder with no expansion space. And there is no way to check the fill level without tediously filling a little way, weighing, filling some more, and finally venting excess, wasting propane. Toss your old bottles and use these for the future.
