Much better than expected. The torch is very handy and makes a high-quality, stable impression. It also looks very valuable due to its slightly higher weight. The modern USB-C charging port is protected by a rubber cap. This opens very easily. The switch-on button works cleanly and reliably. The torch is really bright and the light beam can be adjusted. I would buy this torch again. A suitable holster would be nice. But for the low price, the quality is very good.

Fantastic quality for that cheap price. Very bright and solid. I haven't checked the battery life yet but very happy with the price, size and weight. Just right.

For once I didn't read the reviews on a product so was not aware of the the faulty designed charging port cover. It wont stay in place so not well designed, bound to let water in at some point.. I do however love the torch for the money. Bright, Light and re chargeable. I am using the torch and if it stops working in the next 12 months, back to Amazon it will go.Update to my review. When I used the torch I found the Rubber cover for the USB charge port just kept coming open and was rolling around under my hand.. Was really annoying so have now returned the torch. Such as shame as other than that it was a nice torch.

Ideal weight, and easy to use. It’s just the right size to pick up and run. The zoom in light is perfect to light up an a decent size patch to that of almost daylight for the puppy to go outside. The strobe light is fun, and the SOS light is a nice idea as a safety feature when we start hiking.The built quality is great. It’s a solid little number that weighs just enough for you to be aware you have it when you let it swing on the lanyard that comes with it. None of this light weight plastic rubbish. This by far outshines the cheaper stuff. It would be an ideal addition for any hiker or camper, and the fact it can be charged saves plenty on battery buying. I’ve been using nightly for almost a week and still have a full charge. I would definitely recommend.

The media could not be loaded. Fantastic torch ideal for late night or early morning dog walks. Lights the field up. Has 7 light options and the zoom option. Tells you when it needs charged. The only niggly bit for me is the usb flap does not close I will just put tape over it to keep it dry in case it rains. But all in all 5 stars and it’s sturdy and ideal price as no batteries needed

I've had this torch for around 6 months so plenty of time to fully test it out. The main purpose I bought this for is for winter morning/evening dog walks. I needed something bright, rechargeable and sturdy. It has ticked all those boxes.Once fully charged it's full strength beam is impressive and you can widen or narrow the beam by sliding the front section forwards and backwards. THis has proved really useful for picking out things at distance and for having a wide range over rough ground in the dark...and tracking my dog which is black!No real complaints other than as others have noted, the small rubber cover for the charging dock sits proud on the torche shaft and so it is constantly getting caught and knocked open..eventually it will tear off unless taped down. Once it's gone you could get dirt, debris, dust fluff etc in the socket.It charges fairly quickly on USB and lasts for a few days using two hours per day on full strength. You get a lot longer on lower power options. It also has SOS option and flashing.Really great value for money and I'd recommend, far better than buying a torch that requires expensive batteries that have to be replaced every week or two tokeep maximum power.

It's at the upper limit of what I want in max power output but also has medium and lower output settings. In addition you get a flashing output plus an SOS output. You can also focus the output to a narrow intensive beam.It is very well made and pleasant to hold in your hand.

I wanted something a bit larger, sturdier and brighter than those small LED torches that I have around my house, and this fits the bill very well.It's solidly made, fits nicely in the hand (not too big and not too small), and although it has multi-modes - seemingly inevitable in all torches like this - has a simple operation if that's all you want. Switch it on, after 8 secs press the switch again to turn off. If you want it off sooner, just press and hold the switch for 2 secs. Not need to cycle through those modes if you don't want to. One of the modes is SOS (in morse). It could be useful I suppose, but the others not really.It is super-bright. And rechargeable, which is what I wanted. It has a USB-C connector and comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable. One reviewer complained bitterly that the cable wasn't USB-C to USB-C, but it doesn't claim to be. USB-A to USB-C is what most people would expect. USB power sources are almost universally USB-A.My one criticism is that the charging port is directly under your finger when you hold the torch, and has a rubber cover which constantly gets dislodged. It probably won't be long before it comes off altogether. I'm not relying on the torch being waterproof, but it certainly won't be if that happens.This one criticism aside, I'd still recommended it. I looked at a bunch of other torches before buying this, and of course I haven't actually tried them for comparison, but from what I read I'd say this is about as good as it gets for the price.
