Great fit
Perfect size fit. Very comfortable and light weight. Took no time at all to break in. Wore them on a safari trip. Perfect shoe. I did give them a water repellant spray coat. As these did not was they were water repellant. Would buy again

Feel like tennis shoes, work like hiking boots. Breathable and comfortable!
I had a pair of Oboz which I loved (they were much more expensive than these). They were waterproof and often my feet would feel damp after an hour or so because the boots didn’t breathe. I thought that was likely an unavoidable consequence of waterproof hiking boots. Then I bought these and they are waterproof but ALSO breathable. Not sure how they did it but I wish I had known about these years ago. They are comfortable, they don’t make my feet sweat or feel damp, and they are cute. In my opinion they are much better than my Oboz which cost a lot more money. There was no break in period. These were comfortable to wear all day long straight out of the box. They have great traction (important because I live in a climate that is very cold and icy most of the year). These are my favorite shoes now. They feel like tennis shoes, very lightweight, but work like hiking boots. And the best part is they don’t leave my feet damp because they are somehow waterproof AND breathable. Plus they are relatively cheap for a good pair of hiking shoes. Definitely recommend these.

Perfect fit right out of the box
I love Merrell Moab 3. I wear them everywhere all day because of the wide toe box and arch support. I have a standing up job and can wear these without foot fatigue. I value the durability, waterproof coating and style. I have several pairs of these and they’re always my go to boot.

Good ventilated hiking boots
I am an avid hiker that overheats easily and also needs to wear mid hiking boots because my ankles roll easily which has caused one of them to break and had a serious ATFL tear. I feel safe in mid hiking boots and they protect my ankles. It's hard though to find mid hiking boots that are not waterproof or what they call ventilated. Waterproof is great if you hike in the winter or where there will be water crossings. However, if you hike in hot climates you probably want a ventialted pair. I am grateful for these mid boots by a quality company that I know makes good boots. They provide air circulation, ankle protection and are comfortable right out of the box. They have padding around the ankles and do not rub. I love the color combination which was an added bonus. I have high ankles and need a bigger toe box and these boots have a larger toe box and open wide enough to get my foot in them which can be a problem with some boots. Oh, btw, I have about 8 pair of hiking boots so I have a lot to compare to. I highly recommend these to those of you that hike in any climate that gets hot. These boots also have good grip which is important on all types of terrain.

Best boots I’ve found
I’m an avid hiker but I do have metatarsal foot pain. I have tried boots that were specifically made for that but I can’t find any boots better than these. They’re so comfortable! They’re warm but not hot. I’ve got the short ones for summer and I put over 500 miles on them this summer and they still have a ton of tread on them. These are water resistant. They have the best toe box of any boot I’ve ever tried. Downhill is never a problem because this toe box is so good and the heal is nice and snug. I did buy half a size up because I wear thicker winter hiking socks. They are great on slick surfaces too- absolutely great traction and non slip. I just love these. Don’t hesitate. Just get them. They’re really great hiking boots!

Arch/insole Off
First I note that these boots are very well-made and would be great hiking in snow or rocky areas. However, the insole /arch area in the boot came more to the back of my heel than it did to the middle of my foot/boot, making it extremely uncomfortable. I thought by taking out the insole that was in the boot that I could put in my own insert and it wld be fine, but unfortunately it’s just how the boot was made. I returned them. As far as size I am normally a size 9 wide and I went up to a 10 wide and they fit perfectly with thick woolen socks.

Good quality
I love these boots. I took them on a 3 hour hike and climbed rocks and went through streams. I felt like I had good grip on slippery rocks and good ankle support. I loved the color-way that I got!
