Works perfectly with Linux Mint 21.1 (Vera)
Easiest install on Linux Mint I've known. Connected the dongle and then chose to use the System Settings, Driver Manager and downloaded the code for rtl8852bu-dkms. Kernel update, hence reboot needed. Results were 10% improved download speed compared to the BrosTrend ACL1200 (which I was very happy with). Easily and consistently obtaining 280Mbps on Wi-Fi on a 500Mbps fibre to the property service. Two brick walls and twenty metres from the router.On-board Intel Alderlake Wi-Fi gets about 40Mbps, so definitely worth purchasing compared to an on-board Wi-Fi chip-set.

Perfect
I used this to replace an older (smaller) wifi USB by D-Link. The improvement in reception was tremendous (20dB higher signal). The installation was simple (plug in, install driver, connect to wifi). Highly recommended for the price.Update 19/6/2017. After having problems (after win10 update) it has come down to the driver being very unstable (loses all WiFi networks, drops connection, etc etc etc) . I have two versions 22 and 25 of the driver with the 22 being better. Not happy with this.Update 25/6/2017. As this is a Mediatek chip and driver, I found driver version 5.1.22.1 (vs the 5.1.22.0 I was using before) and this drivers works well. No problems any longer so back to 5 stars! If having problems under win 10 search for Mediatek AC600 driver 5.1.22.1 and download it.

Totally useless WIFI dongle
It froze my computer on installing this wifi dongle, it wouldn't install the online drivers as requested and just froze the installation and computer. I thought at one point it was going to totally wreck my computer as just left staring at a black screen, and all I wanted was a wifi dongle to run Linux mint which this clearly will not, but said it would. Sadly I have wasted my money and the only pleasure I will get from this wifi dongle is to drive a 6lb brick hammer through it. Not a good buy for me

Great Product
If you want some thing simple to help you connect to the internet then this is a great product. I purchased these as our computers at work where not WIFI and when we lost the cabled internet to the PC's we could not work - so I plugged them into the back of the PC's inserted the disc and they just connected to our router with no problems, so now when our work internet goes down we can now connect to a mobile hotspot that we have in case of emergencies. These are only small but they can pick up the signal from the router through 2 walls with no problem.I would definitely recommend this product as it is very easy to use and does what it says on the box. I love to write reviews to help other customers out there and I do so on a voluntary basis, my reviews are unbiased and it does not affect my review by what the price tag of the item is as this is my true and honest opinion on what I personally think of the product. Many thanks for viewing.

Good Service and product
Works fine. Had to download updated software for Win 10 64 bit and sneaker net it on but no issues from that.

Slight problem interacting with my LInux system, dealt with efficiently by Support
Arrived quickly. The only hiccup was that it initially stopped my Linux system from booting properly if the adaptor was plugged in at startup, meaning that I had to boot the computer first, and then plug the adaptor in.However, a message to their support staff led to their Linux support sending a simple solution within 24 hours. The computer now boots cleanly with the adaptor plugged in, and the device is working well.

Disappointing
Very easy to install but performance is incredibly poor. As shown in the picture attached, it only provides 10% of the download speed that my router can provide with only 2 walls in between the router and my device.
