Okay I didn’t get to take a picture but I definitely wanted to leave a review on this cage because I definitely should have gotten it the first time. I wanted to wait til it was cleaning day for my ferrets to see how easy it would be before leaving an honest review. I needed something bigger for my 3 ferrets and a couple months ago I went with buying a cage locally after searching online but just being hesitant, and this cage was one that I had my eye on but I was nervous with some of reviews. I ended up needing something way more sustainable and would be easier to clean so I just went with this one and I’m so happy I did! Like it’s so convenient and easy to clean. I think it’s strong enough material for my 3 ferrets, it’s not heavy duty but it’s easy to work with when trying to clean little areas. The reviews mentioned the instructions being the worst part and honestly, they are a little confusing but I didn’t even read them, I went off of the pictures and common sense. I messed up a couple times 😅 but I honest had fun putting it together. The only real problem I have it how flimsy the tray is. I took the tray from my old cage and used it instead of the one it came with. For the price, it’s a pretty awesome cage. It the perfect size and gives my ferrets a lot of space for activities.

This cage is perfect for my 4 week old kitten with an injured leg we rescued. It allows her to freely and safely explore and exercise with out running loose in the house. I ultimately picked this cage because the ramps or ladders were covered and my kitty does not have great balance yet. Now once she gets bigger she will not fit in the small holes that some of the platforms have so those will be removed but if you have small kittens this works great. The inside is very roomy. I was able to fit an automatic water bowl, litter box, scratch box, food bowl, and a small ferret bed. My only complaint is the bottom is not very sturdy and would not work for a heavier cat but hopefully we won’t need this cage for very long. The doors open well and the side opens completely for easy rearranging or cleaning. The metal is sturdy and does not bend.

Overall, the cage is pretty good. I will say the bottom pan is extremely flimsy. I reinforced it with cardboard while looking for a replacement pan that will fit. I also have my ferret’s litter and other things underneath to stabilize it. I love the doors that open on the sides, but it’s still a little hard to clean when you’re reaching all the way across. However, my Penelope seems to really enjoy the cage. I took the very top shelf off and put it with the shelf below the main platform with 3 shelves. This makes it three tiers, but she has more space. She’s only in the cage at night to sleep the rest of the time I can leave the little bottom door open and she free rooms. But she will go in there to take a nap or to get some food water and use the litter pan. I found the cage easy to assemble, but I’ve put together ferret nation cages before so this is very similar.

I bought this cage TWO MONTHS ago and I already need to replace it. The cage was not very easy to assemble because one of the bars was welded in crooked. I had to use wire cutters to cut the piece so it would slide it and that’s not my biggest complaint. The bottom of the cage is a thin plastic, not metal. The bottom is made from material that’s way more thin and flimsy than the stairs are and my chinchilla are through it so fast. I tried to put cardboard under him as much as I could and he still preferred the bottom plastic which was way too easy for him to chew. I had to block off the entire bottom and can only use the top half until I can buy a new one. It’s upsetting that I spent so much on a cage just to replace it two months later. My last cage lasted us six years.

Large cage with everything you need, sturdy and well built. Casters make it easy to move for cleaning and the entire side opens as well making cleaning so much easier. Highly recommend

I love the height in this cage. The different levels offered and slides/ramps make it helpful to the animal to climb up and down. There are holes in the shelves that help moving up levels. You do have to build this once sent to you. If I can do it anyone can, I’m sure to some it would be very simple, instructions were very helpful. The bottom seems to not fit well at first and feels like it could fall out easily but it doesn’t and won’t. I have rats and they jump around the cage and the bottoms is study and has never fallen out. The shelves were very frustrating and difficult to put in and I ended up breaking one of them trying to lock it in. It is challenging to clean this cage. Not the bottom, that is an easy, the hard part is cleaning the inside caging and sides. If you are able to get cage outside every once in a while and really deep clean with a hose and soapy water, would help. There are two doors to let creatures, on the bottom and top. Overall is a good cage and has been good for the animals I have. Difficulty setting up.
