I bought several of these for family and friends. They are easy to use, and loud enough to get attention if needed.

It’s slim and the same size as my car key fob so easy to carry. Other brands I’ve tried are much more bulky. I tested it out in a parking lot and the volume is a loud pitch and the lights flash bright - hope to never need it but it’s nice to know it’s effective, and I feel much safer carrying this with me. My only complaint is that the carabiner it comes with doesn’t hold up well, but it’s easy to fit on another keychain. Overall, great product and would purchase again!

It is very touchy, which to some degree is good thing for the type of job it is supposed to do - but it easily will go off if I set my keys down or graze it ever so slightly. Just wish I didn’t set it off all the time…

Very very loud..would startle anyone!!!

So...got this item to haze coyotes since I have a small dog. My mom accidentally pulled the top which activates the alarm. So we're at a cafeteria in a national park and suddenly we hear this sort of vague alarm sound. Like maybe a security alarm went off three blocks away, very faint. We're looking around trying to localize it and it hits me...could that be the alarm? The personal safety alarm? Meant to repel attackers? Yes, yes it is. Worse: we're eating on a patio that is just covered in squirrels. It didn't even scare a single squirrel. My dog looked bored.Oh and when I went to try it again, it was dead. So it's apparently a single use "alarm" that might be...5-10 decibels at most? And it's being sold as a personal protection alarm. If you got attacked and tried to use this to alert others to come help, you're screwed

I bought this for my daughter who lives in the city now. She said she dropped it and it went off the other day, IT WORKS ! :-)

I liked the product other than the fact that it kept falling off the gold keychain. It would untwist itself in my pocket (I do food delivery so I need it for safety especiallyat night). It fell off 3 or 4 times but the last time it must have fallen in a restaurant or in a parking lot because when I went to turn on my vehicle the alarm portion had come off the gold keychain. Not sure how to get a hold of the seller to see if I can get a replacement...but it was a good product. Did not have it very long so if you do buy, super glue the gold keychain shut once you get the alarm on.
