Q: Is this bra sheer or padded?

It's not padded and not see-through. Keep in mind, if you've not worn these bras, the sizes are different. I wear a 38 DDD and normally I would say a 36 D or DD. They are not huge, the sizes are different. I have three, and they are all the same in that way.

Q: Is the cup a 'stretchy' lace????

I don't know if I would call it stretchy but it does stretch and the cups are comfortable. I haven't found ANY bra that is actually what I would call comfortable but this bra is one of the best I have found. Have worn this particular style for years.

Q: Is this the same bra as the Lace Halo underwire?

Similar bras but different fabric for the cups.This is better for wearing under sheer fabric and tee shirts - lace back is exactly the same but cups are a thicker fabric - not exactly moulded cups but do hold shape on their own - I am happy and own both styles in size 34G - good support and shape
