The stripper is great, once you have it set up its an absolute breeze to use. out of the box there are a lot of sharp edges and a few things that don't look the best but for the amount you save you cant really complain, it doesn't impact the function. Vevor is slowly becoming a brand I'm growing to like.

So hard to use

Sturdy and well made. Bolted down to my workshop bench.Great for stripping round cores but quite difficult when trying to strip 95mm triangular cores.

Absolutely brilliant device, helped me strip so much cable in next to no time. Takes a bit to get the hang of using it if you've never used one before but once you do work it out and get the guide setup in the right way for the cable you are stripping it flies through ! Especially with the dril bit fixed and using a drill. Would definitely recommend this to anyone needing to strip cables quickly and effectively that are within its size limits.

I bought this after we had a big dismantling of our electric system, and this allowed me to skin a lot more wire than if i were doing it by hand. It takes a bit of practice to get used to setting the height of the blade right, but after, it goes great. It is very heavy, you can feel this is a quality product.

I gave 5 stars because this is a quality product for the price charged. It has areas that could be better, but i didn’t expect perfection at this price. This wire stripper is easy to use. I set it up on a shelf in the garage where i store wire meant to be recycled. I was able to easily swap out the plates to make stripping smaller wires more efficient.I was able to use it by myself but it worked much better to have a second person to help feed the wire or move it away after. It comes with bolts so you can drills holes and secure it to a shelf, but I opted to use a C-clamp instead. The pressure of the weight of the wire can be a lot if you’re operating it by yourself. If the wire isn’t fed in straight it can cause the insulation to bunch up and prevent it from going in further. The blade has to be set to the right depth. Not enough and removing the insulation can’t be removed and too deeply then the wire strands can be cut into tiny daggers.I was able to easily strip wires between 8 awg and 500 kcmil. I personally don’t think smaller wires are worth the time and effort. Keep in mind that this creates a slit in the insulation that you must manually remove afterwards.The handle works well and i was able to grip it easily. I just had to ensure it would extend beyond the edge of the shelf because it swings lower than the level of the base. The blade adjusted easily as well and i was able to lock it in place very easily and it didn’t move at all during use. I broke the back glass plate when i was operating it by myself but this didn’t impact its use. I can see myself having this for years to come with no complaints. It’s been very durable so far.

Fungerar utmärkt till 6mm2 kabel som jag kört.Tänk dock på att inte skära bort för mycket av ytterhöljet så att höljet på 6mm2 kabeln blir skadat. Ytterhöljet är alltså det som två eller fyra kablarna ligger i.Fungerar utmärkt med batteridriven borrmaskin.Kan rekommenderas.
