great sturdy Axle stands
I have a simple pair of axle stands that have the pin through, these rachet stile are much easier to use and of excellant quality, I recommend these Bahco stands

Sturdy axle stands.
Well made, solid axle stands, Have seen some that appear less sturdy than these Bahco stands, If you're working underneath a 3 ton vehicle, it helps to be confident that it's staying put.

Axle stands, 3 ton.
Apparently these came from Spain but were made in China. In my opinion the weak point with all these (very similar) stands is the cast iron leg holding up the vehicle, as you are probably aware, cast iron is very brittle. However it does appear to be well made so we'll see how it stands up to general use.Just for the record the minimum height is 300mm although it says 288mm in the description and on the box in which they were supplied.
