The Joyo American sound is an excellent Fenderish pedal. It appears to be a copy of the Tech 21 NYC Blonde, but as someone who has also owned that pedal, it's a little bit different. The voice control sweeps mid frequencies in conjunction with the gain control to allow a range of Fender Twin, Fender Deluxe, Fender Bassman, Fender Tweed tones, but it takes some time to work out how all the knobs interact to fine tune the sound. I use the pedal with an additional external IR into a PA, but it works well without an IR and sounds good enough for going direct. Much harder to run into a conventional guitar amp unless you can bypass the preamp, but still works that way as an overdrive pedal. It's not exactly the same as the superficially similar Caline American pedal and the Joyo has a battery compartment which can be useful. A remarkable pedal for the money and well built. Perhaps the best cheap guitar pedal on the market?

This pedal sounds great going straight into my desktop monitors. I pair it with a Mosky spring reverb and is my amp sound / pedal platform. Crazy good value.

I love the tone of this pedal, I mostly use it with a bass and the variety it gives with the mid-cut switch is very useful. The fuzz knob doesn't seem to do much but the tone and mid-cut can cover almost every fuzz sound you could need.The only slightly underwhelming part is the octave (most of the reason I got it). It's adequate but the raised octave isn't as prominent as it could be.Having said this, it is still definitely worth it and I use this pedal a lot.

If you are seeking an unfussy, solid, great sounding tremolo pedal, and don't want to break the bank, the Joyo offers all those things in a rugged, attractive package.I spent some time researching the options, and watched a few of the product comparison videos you will quickly find if you search, concluding that this was the one to try first.Now integrated into my pedal board, I find this a completely satisfying tremolo sound, and everything about the physical presentation of the pedal points to a unit that could just as easily be priced closer to the £100 mark.The pedal offers true bypass, which is an important feature for a quality pedal. When in operation, it has a nice vintage feel.Often with music equipment you get what you pay for, but there are now many absolutely credible alternatives with guitar pedals at far lower prices, so don't be tempted to think this is cheap sounding.It sounds lovely.

This pedal is an amazing vox emulator. Took me a few days to dial in the different amp settings but once you get the hang of it it's a great pedal with loads of variation.It gets you pretty close to AC 30 & 15 tones for a fantastic price. Lots of tryouts on YouTube to judge for yourself..

if you know what a phaser does, then skip this first bit, for newbies or gift buyers read on.... a phaser is an electric 'foot' operated pedal box that you plug a guitar or other instrument into then connect to an amplifier, when activated it takes the sound in and alters the phase of the sound depending on the setting resulting in a pleasant or not (opinions and players vary) distorted sound heavily used in the 60s - 80s. for the rest :- pedals like people are not all created equal and phasers are no diferent. i have tried phasers included on multi effect pedals, with wide varying results, but even the best multi effects only allow for 1 effect at a time. single effects range from nails on a blackboard to subtle but mortgage level master in a box. I needed a good phaser at cheap price, scoured the ads and settled on this, metal body, no battery, single knob what had I done ? WELL lets see, metal body, great, no horrific cracking if used with divers boots. No battery, double edge sword, theres the inconvenience of a mains connection , but theres no battery to die mid gig. Single knob, easy to set up, adjust, mark with a sharpie done, instand reset if its disturbed and none of that knobs for volume, gain, attack, decay, tea strength, beam up/down. one knob simples. Sound :- the level of the effect is done by turning the captain proteus 1940s - 60s sci fi style knob, which is just the right amount of sensetive. tones are right on spot. on/off stomp button is crisp. This isnt a £9.99 flimsy unit that hurts the ears, neither is it a £200 symphony in a box, its a cheapish effects pedal that does its job and does it well.

This is a great little amp modeller. I can't believe how good it sounds. Classic tones. A snip for thirty quid.

Pro,1. An inexpensive EQ pedal extremely comparable to the MXR 6 Band EQ.2. Great sturdy build quality.3. It accepts either a 9 volt battery or can be powered by a 9 volt adapter. I'd personally advise the battery.4. It's very quiet compared to some other EQ pedals I've used. For example I used a Caline10 band EQ and a Behringer 7 band EQ. This EQ for the price is far quieter and very close to the MXR 6 Band EQ.5. It has very responsive controls that allow accurate sound sculpting.6. The EQ slider light up which them easy to see if you're gigging and want to adjust your settings.Cons,It's not the best and doesn't have a volume control, but for the money and how it works that's not really a con.If you're on a budget and need an EQ this will do the trick plus some. It's ideal for using as a lead boost or in the FX loop of an amp that does have anymore than a tone control. I use this in the FX loop of my Joyo Zombie II head and it fine tunes the frequencies I otherwise couldn't do with the amp head alone.

I really love all the Joyo pedals I have tried. This one is a standout. Really tweakable tone machine, the octave is classic and fuzz is beautiful. Hendrix to Pumpkins, you got lots of variety.

Gives me the sound of older amps. Just opens up more cool sounds that I can generate with my guitar.

I'm impressed with this pedal. It has a pretty wide range of sounds. I can get a nice chugg out of this.
