Very important !! The controls that set the width of the cut are not screws. They are slide pins that are held in place by Allen screws. This design is not the best. ( why are there no instructions?)The design does not allow cuts into narrow pieces of wood. There are several work arounds.The design appears to be more rigid than the other design that has the 10mm rods. The mortise fits the festoon tenon snugglySeveral screws had fallen out during shipping. Look missing screws in your packaging.Overall, I like the unit but wish that it had dust collection and was set to more easily cut mortise into flat panels.

I really wanted this to work. The idea is great and it's easy to set up and use but it does not produce accurate results. The side to side motion is not level resulting in a tilted mortise. In other words, it's not parallel to the surface. This is not adjustable. I'll just keep saving for the festool domino.

real good quality on every thing but the handle is plastic . best bang for the buck you wont be sorry
