This arrived more quickly than I expected - and I got a text saying "We're going to deliver your furniture this afternoon" - but 3 days later...That said,the 2 delivery guys were brillliant - careful, cheerful & helpful. They brought it right into the room where it was going to end up. Good thing too - it's HEAVY!Unpacked, it's very solid - the top is solid - engineered from square section staves, as are the big chunky legs, Frame is solid and (surprisingly for the price) the back, sides and door panels don't appear to be veneer either. Seems to be Chinese oak, but I'm no expert. It's paler than European oak, not as grey doesn't show the same medullary rays and has a much more pronounced grain on some of the staves making up the top. Amazon lists it as " Oak Furniture King Kuba Solid Oak widescreen TV unit" - but it bears an astonishing resemblance to the "Hagan Solid Wood TV Stand" by Gracie Oaks that Wayfair sells for £959 - half as much again. The two product photos are identical - down to the carpet it sits on, and the TV & video unit on it.... Weird. The wonders of sourcing from the far East and trying to rebrand it as your own! Either way, it's an excellent piece of furniture and I'd deal with the company again, too.

Arrived quickly and is a great value piece of furniture, bought for a 75” TV. Looks lovely in our large living room. Very heavy with the glass shelves and superficially good quality but closer inspection shows why it’s so cheap. E.g. Door handles not straight, but I just drilled one of the holes very slightly and now all good. Internal construction cheap but you can’t see that. Piece of advice to all: delivery is only to doorstep so unpack it where they leave it. It’s too heavy and awkward to move in the package but once unpacked you can take out the glass and bits to make it lighter. You can then get your hands under the ends to lift. Much easier!

We had been looking for a wide tv unit for a while and couldnt find anything we liked. Once we saw this and the matching nest of tables we decided to order. I am so delighted we did as the quality of this furniture is amazing. Its solid oak and far exceeds anything we looked at in any of the furniture shops. There was a very minor issue that we had to liaise with there customer care team about and i have to say, the experience is the best i have encountered. Nothing was too much trouble and very responsive. Excellent seller and furniture!

Shame you have to wax it yourself

This was received with a bad manufacturing defect. The left side was not fitted correctly and there were gaps between the side and and the rest of the cabinet. The cabinet was delivered, then unpacked in my home and then the two delivery guys quickly left. It wasn't until later that I noticed the defect.This is the first furniture I have ever bought and there was a fault on it of this magnitude. I was very disappointed to say the least! I was asked to supply photos of the defect ( why?) and the cabinet was collected later.

left a lot to be desired as item did not arrive until the afternoon of the 10th Oct But in An excellent piece of furniture ,extremely well made and exactly what we ordered.Delivery defence this was not the Fault of Oak furniture King but the fact we live on an Island ( Islee of Wight )Would recommend Oak F. King and will return at a later date.

Lovely item very heavy and solid item

Love this tv unit. It is made of solid oak wood, so it is very heavy. Well made and looks awesome in the tv room. Smooth finish and great craftsmanship.
