I grew up hating incense because it reminded me of the hippie stores and never liked the smells. I was diagnosed with a medical issue and looked up ways to keep my body calm and essential oils and incense sticks were recommended. I stumbled upon these a few months ago and I have to say I can’t live without them. The different smells are fantastic I honestly look forward to bed time and even my husband will grab them and light them up if I haven’t gotten to them first. They have made such a difference with my depression and the pain I have to live with until surgery and I’m not into the fu fu stuff and never have but this company made me change my mind entirely. I recommend this product to my friends and family. I get compliments as soon as someone comes over. You can smell these down the hallway and my room is 1k sq feet and just two of these lit up at the same time fills my room and bathroom with the most gorgeous scent all day and night. If you haven’t tried these do it I wouldn’t have wrote this book long review if it didn’t help me both mentally and physically. Props to this company for getting it right and I hope they never discontinue because I’ll be lost without them! Oh and try their essential oils in this blend too! I use them in my night stand diffuser and I even made my own soy candles with them. So essentially me entire room is filled with this company’s products lol!

Bought these for my daughter who loves incense. She loves these. The scent is strong but not too strong. Lasting relaxing scents

These smell soooo nice. Her’s and his!

First I need to mention that these Folkessence incense come in the most appealing packaging I’ve ever come across and I buy a lot of incense. Not only is the packaging adorable and worthy of display on a shelf bit each pack (the order comes with six packs containing 20 sticks each) but each pack has an inspiring saying at the too that reflects the scent such as “Make Today Count” and “Choose Happy.” Such a nice little detail! The scents themselves are strong enough to smell but not overpowering, a hard balance to strike with incense. I usually find that I can barely smell anything at all or that the smell is so strong it makes me sick to my stomach as I’m quite sensitive to smells but the Folkessence are the perfect balance. My favorite is the Lotus Blossom & Waterlilly. The only reason I gave them 4 starts instead of 5 is because they are advertised as longer burning but I tested them against a Mainstays Sage incense stick that I bought from Walmart (shown in 3rd pic) and they both burned for the same amount of time, about 32 minutes. However the Folkessence stick still won out because of its more powerful but not overpowering scent while the Mainstays hardly has a scent at all. All in all I highly recommend the Folkessence incense sticks. They smell wonderful and the charming packaging is an extra touch.

These are interesting.. I’d give 3.5 stars. It can be a gamble buying scented things without being able to smell first. Right off the packaging was incredibly strong smelling. Some of these are good, okay; and bad!White tea and sage- very much do not like. Has a gross 90’s bathroom perfume odor if that makes sense ??Barossa rose plum- very sweet rose and floral scent. I like it.Aqua oud- I like it: it smells like clean laundry.Ylang ylang jasmine- smells exactly like nag champa. I like it.Lavender chamomile- smells exactly as described …..and very fake and yuck at that!Rosemary patchouli: smells exactly like AJAX powdered cleaner. Yuck!Blech!!!So I like 3 of them, that’s good enough..ish.I’d be willing to try the other themes they have, burn what I like and get rid of the rest .

I purchase these regularly. Great quality. Smells great.
