NOW Foods Psyllium Husk 500mg, 500 Capsule (2 Pack)

I take this daily. I have big consistent poops every morning. Wonderful and I’ll never stop taking.

Does the job without having to gag down the brand name powder mix.

I've been using this particular brand of psyllium husk on and off for about 10 years now. I take three capsules first thing in the morning with a glass warm water, and three more capsules about an hour after dinner with another glass of warm water. This helps keep me regular, especially when traveling. I feel that the Now brand is a reputable and trusted brand and will continue to use it. It's an exceptional value for the money and I recommend it.

This does everything my last fiber capsules did for less money.

Good Product

I find this product helpful with my digestion.However...the ad claims "Psyllium has the ability to swell up to 50 times its initial volume when added to liquid." I put one of the pills in a glass of warm water. After 2 hours, there was a very NEGLIGIBLE increase in volume--hardly any increase at all. The claim itself is misleading. "...has the ability..." isn't really saying it will happen with this product. As far as I'm concerned, this is FALSE advertising. Particularly when it goes on to say that the increase in bulk (which doesn't happen) "...can play an important role in maintaining regularity and gastrointestinal health."I would love to hear the manufacturer explain this.

You have to experiment with the dose but this'll keep you regular.
