First day using this, but pleased as punch!I got (what I thought) my first very mild YI not sure how or why (tmi, but I do wear thongs, albeit I change them 3x daily, I also exercise frequently)- but it happened. That's life.Nothing too gross- just a lot of discharge, with what looked like clumpy white tissue in it, no fishy foul smell- only a metallic-like musky smell (like iron or something). It was just getting on my nerves because I would get that horrible "after-sneeze" feeling throughout the day- without sneezing D:Anyways, after one night I have gotten significantly less discharge today- so far no white tissue looking stuff! Just occasional clear fluid and some of the borax powder lol.**Edit: After 6 days, no discharge, like at all, no clumps, and literally no smell whatsoever. It's like holy cow- I should've been using this forever ago. Please don't stop selling this. You've hooked me!I've never really had much of a smell down there- and an ex had told me so outright (hahaha! in your face :P) but now I'm wondering if that occasional metallic smell I got, had always been the slight increase of yeast- cause it's totally gone now. Hey, ya live and ya learn!I'm just glad there was an alternative for my predicament! This is so much better than turning to chemicals or creams. I did experience a very tiny amount of burning, and a slight increase in itching (which went away after 2 days of treatment), but it could've just been the infection itself. It didn't bother me enough to warrant worry. Throughout the day during treatment, *ahem* there would be some discharge of the borax that had dissolved- some of it was powdery, but nothing scary. Just a heads up, you may want to stick to light colored underwear for a while.Also, the bottle is so unassuming and pretty- I don't even mind it on my bathroom counter. I'm keeping it fresh, the best way :POverall: excellent, effective, unscented, non-irritating, convenient, and unassuming 10/5!!!Nothing to dislike! I'd recommend this for any woman as an occasional, maybe 1x a week, or 1x every 2 weeks as a 'refresher'. Especially if you wear thongs and or exercise a lot.Tip: use it right after a shower before bed when you're all nice and clean. You don't need anything fancy- maybe at most a mirror if you're needing to do a proper check up of the situation (and you should, because embarrassment aside, your body needs to be monitored).**It's also good to sleep in with your bottom in the buff 2-3x a week to let things air out (again, it's best to shower before bed so as to not dirty your sheets). Just toss an over-sized cotton shirt over your head and hit the hay!

AWESOME!!! Sorry for the long post, but please read if you want an accurate picture of what this product can do. I have immunity issues I've struggled with since I was born. The docs can't figure out what it is and I've already lost a kidney to bacterial infections. I am on antibiotics at least 5-6 times per year and have to deal with antibiotic resistant germs now, including yeast. The traditional meds no longer work for the candida I'm now colonized with and I've tried everything under the sun to combat the problems. Diet, supplements... However, I finally came across this product. For the last couple months I've been battling yet another yeast infection that hasn't responded to anything and was so severe I was looking at maybe needing Amphotericin-B, a very STRONG antifungal that makes you extremely sick. I'd have done it though, because it's turned into a super infection, basically the MRSA of yeast. But I'd probably be right back here after the next round of antibiotics and will eventually get to where nothing will work at all. Well, I'm only on day 3 of this treatment, using 2 capsules a day, and the itching is almost gone and the swelling has decreased dramatically. The odor was gone and a lot of the yeast had been killed off and expelled during the first 48 hours. I'll be writing another review in a few months evaluating it's effectiveness at preventing them by using them during times I'm most susceptible. It will most likely burn/itch a bit and cause some uncomfortable cramps at first, but it will pass. And make sure to do at least a week's worth of treatment, possibly 2, even if you start feeling completely cured to ensure you kill it off 100%. That's how rebound infections usually occur. Traditional meds are given just long enough that it knocks it down so it appears to be gone, but because yeast and BV are so resilient, they have a tendency to have some surviving microbes that will come back in full force. But you'll run into more problems if you take the traditional meds longer than they're typically used. It's a catch-22. Also, wear a pad or liner because the dead microbes will be expelled, causing a lot of discharge at first. I hope this helps another lady out there who's frustrated and at the end of her rope ☺️

Ok, I’ve had to do a million rounds of doxycycline since I first got Lyme at 10, so I have been in a vicious battle with yeast for about 15 years, and about 3 years ago I started seeing a partner whose guy parts didn’t agree with my girl parts and bv joined the war too. We all know monistat lights our insides on fire and metronidazole brings the yeast back into the game. It’s an evil vicious cycle that destroys our microbiome and eventually can lead to antibiotic and antifungal resistance. Enter boric acid, my best friend in the whole world. I tried all that crazy stuff (I drew the line at putting a garlic clove up there, sorry no freaking way, although I did put a probiotic with garlic in there) and nothing actually worked until I found this. I’ve tried other boric acids since this one is pricier and you’d think they’d all be the same but I swear on my life this is the ONE. One or two nights of this wipes out either yeast or bv (although it’s good to do the full course to really stamp it out). If I have a new partner I pop one in afterward the first time just in case, and I haven’t had any issues. My friends use one right after their period, no issues. I’ve only had one very short yeast infection in the last year, whereas before it was every month or two. I’ve combined this with the jarrow dophilus women probiotic and it has changed my vagina’s life. You need this. Important tip: use this at night and wear a pad. It gushes out, hopefully when you get up in the morning but sometimes in the middle of the night and it will definitely look like you wet the bed without an overnight pad!

I've tried 2 other brands and these are the only ones so far that work for me with no bad reactions.
