Not cutting the cord completely, but to save money I turned in the cable boxes for the office and garage at home since we rarely used them. But, I still wanted access to the TV's occasionally. So this little antenna works perfectly. I'm about 20 miles to the mountain top where all the local TV transmitters are. Stuck this in the attic and ran a scan on the TV's and was amazed how many stations there are over the air. I'm getting easily 20+ stations, many low power with this antenna. Love it!! Antenna appears pretty sturdy so I would have no qualms with putting it on the roof had it been needed. Definitely worth the money!!

I didn't expect much, but whoa, 33 channels... Although some of them are useless, I am very pleased to get some local channels.

The antenna did not pick up all the free to air channels, missing channel 7, 7 plus, 7 mate, 7 bravo, and all the SBS channels. I retuned the TV many times, adjusted the position of the antenna, still not picking up those channels.

Use the online video for assembly, it definitely assists the sub-par paper instructions.Product is light aluminum, with plastic braces/mounts. All the pieces you need for assembly are there. Anchor screws to a typical wood structure included.Good cautionary warnings included.The produce works great in my location;34kms/21 miles as crow flies from countryside to Broadcast Hill in Calgary Alberta.I think I will install in attic as our winds would likely kick the hell out of this unit.

After you get it assembled, it is a great antenna with wonderful reception. I will caution that I am very mechanically minded but it took quite a while to assemble the antenna. It came in pieces and I found that the assembly instructions were lacking detail and illustrations. I finally pulled the picture of the antenna up on my iPad and enlarged it as much as I could to finish assembling the antenna. I think those not mechanically minded would have great difficulty putting it together to the point they might return the product. Please keep that in mind when ordering.I am quite pleased with the reception. In fact, the antenna works so well and is small enough that I have not installed it outside as yet. It is currently hidden in the corner behind my TV in a fake palm tree. It may not have to go outside on my balcony.
