This is a really good quality, colourful set, which I bought for my daughter's 4th birthday. It's been an instant hit with her and my 14 month old son, who both get hours of enjoyment creating ice-cream sundaes and various sweet creations. My daughter enjoys balancing as many of the ice-cream elements as possible on top of each before they fall down, so they have taken a bashing but are still looking as good as new. For younger children these are really nice to hold in little hands and are colorful and engaging. This makes a really nice gift as it comes in a handy case with a flip top, that is pretty enough to keep and use to store the ice-creams along with a few other bits and pieces. Worth the price and highly recommended for any little ones who love playing cafes, shops or just love ice-cream.

This was just one set I bought for a Christmas 'kitchen' set, alongside other wooden food items. And it's one of our favourites.We use this regularly with some toy money as an 'ice cream shop'. My three-year-old loves forcing certain combinations on me, but we like to roleplay shopkeeper and customer, selling various ice creams and lollies to each other, making the different flavours here.There are two mini spoons and two plates here, a selection of ice cream parts to make sundaes (big and small), two lollies (fruit and chocolate), and three macaroons on a tray.The colours are fabulous, the wood is very good quality, smooth and varnished. They end up being 'pretend' licked a lot, but I'm not worried.The box they come in is very high quality as well, with a carry strap, and we've kept this for storage.Happy enough with the price as these really are excellent quality.For ages 3 and above (as some pieces are small and BOUND to be mouth-bound, even for older children!).

Bought this for my two and a half year old granddaughter , the pieces are colourful , bright and delightful. She's normally a rush around can't keep still little girl but she was fascinated by this ice cream set and it keeps her occupied for ages, making ice creams for the family ! I'm convinced that a big part of this is that they're wooden, so a lot more solid than the usual plastic flimsy toys . And , of course , they're environmentally friendly , a big bonus. Such a good price too !

We bought this wooden play set for our three year old. She loves it and it has been played with most days for 8 months. The thick cardboard box is very sturdy with a carry handle which makes the pieces easy to tidy away. The pieces themselves are very sturdy and have survived the paddling pool and the sandpit. The colours are still vibrant and there are only a few scuff marks. I'm looking for more wooden toys like this as they are more durable and nicer to play with than the usual plastic toys.

This is a beautiful product. Very good quality and very sturdy- just what you want for a heavy handed toddler! My toddler has had hours of fun with these and i can see them lasting a very long time! Lovely set would be a perfect gift.

Ordered for a four-year old. The product is colourful, solid, easy to handle with little hands and does not chip or scratch. Overall, I am impressed with the quality of this product.

Arrived quickly and very well packaged externally and all items inside were well protected. The box is great for storage. Was given as a present to my gorgeous little niece Erin (3 yrs old) her and her sister (4 )love playing with it. One of the most played with Christmas presents. I have never eaten so many ice creams and it really helps create and stir their imagination. All parts smooth, well painted and durable. Great value too price wise. Surperb!!!
