Yes the pockets will hold an iPhone

Q: Would I be able to have it embroidered on the back?

I’m not an expert on embroidery but I don’t think so. It’s light weight and I think the embroidery stitching would be too heavy.

Q: Is the navy blue a true navy in this jacket?

It’s a dark blue but not as dark as navy. Light weight and very comfortable.
