This is sturdy and tough, with lots of pockets and compartments to stay organized. I paired this backpack with a set of zippered canvas pouches to further organize the large compartments, and I'm very happy with it. I routinely carry both an iPad pro and a laptop, and this holds both easily.If you get the black, done expect perfect jet black for long - this picks up dust and fuzzies and shows its wear over time. I don't mind my tools showing some wear, but if you're a neat and tidy, prim and proper type who wants perfect clean black always, this is not for you. No points against, as I don't think that's the goal.Zippers feel durable and function easily without undoing themselves.I'm a big guy, 6'1" and 275, and this is very comfortable to wear, although my wife says it looks slightly small on me. I don't really care how it looks, as I'm a function first kind of guy.

I purchased this backpack for my son’s first year of high school. We’ve had this brand of backpack in the smaller sizes but needed something bigger this time. We were pleasantly surprised when we received it. It has tons of pockets, zipper pouches and different sections for storing laptop, notebooks, pens, pencils, phone, hand sanitizer, chapstick, water bottle, and snacks. It is very durable and machine washable. The design is also classic and timeless. It also has cushioned and adjustable straps which make it very comfortable to carry. Highly recommend!

Great quality with strong g-1000 material. Quite roomy and finds 16” laptop. However I wish it would be a bit bigger. A lots of compartments, but that also takes away space to put big items. Overall very satisfying as there isn’t a perfect backpack but it is as close as it gets to it.

I love this backpack. I love the looks and the quality. The back is quite firm so it offers good back support. The arm straps are rather thick and comfortable. The fabric looks durable. And I love the small detail of the fox in leather, it is so cute! It is perfect for carrying my laptop and other stuff to university and for travelling.My only complaint (and why I removed a star) is that it doesn't include a waist belt, nor a sternum belt. This is a relatively big backpack to carry a laptop, so to carry quite some weight is expected. I understand that they went for a minimalistic look but for me this is essential, they could at least include some loops to which you could add a belt if needed, and sell it separately. Instead, I had to sew one to the arm straps, which for now works but adding the one for the chest is gonna be more difficult. It would also have been nice to include a rain cover since the backpack is not fully waterproof, but these are easy to find from third parties. I don't wanna risk my laptop going for a swim during NY rains!EDIT: After a month of usage, I can say that I love how comfortable this backpack is. However, it is annoyingly easy to make dirty. It is also easy to clean but never had a backpack that gets so dirty just by looking at it.

Purchased the backpack for our 18yr old high school senior daughter as an every-day school backpack. Black was a good neutral color which she liked - it'll go well with any outfit she wears. Overall, it's a standard size for a kid's backpack - not to big / not to small. It's a simple design without a bunch of cinching straps. It's perfect for her books, iPad and anything else a high school senior needs for the day. It has stout fabric with a sturdy padded back panel and sheds rain and snow weather here in Minnesota very well.

Love all the compartments and pockets. Very durable, easy to clean. After my daughter is done with it this year, this will be my backpack (dad).

Does exactly what you want a backpack to do. The design is plain and simple. Plenty of space for everything needed on campus for the day.

This is a great bag, but it isn’t a fit for me. On a plus size frame, the width of this bag appears narrow. Sending it back is more of a personal issue than that a mfg’ing concern.The materials (fabric, zippers, handle, etc.) felt top notch; however, I knew that I would wear the bag “on my back” - not simply “on one shoulder”. Having the bag not cover my back properly was too much of an issue for me.
